I enjoy the Culture ship names immensely and there are a few that fit in the Eve char limit ( Me, I'm Counting, Zero Gravitas, God Made Me Do It ). I doubt CCP will be extending the limit to let you use the full name of Mistake Not... though.

I have also noticed the gate cloak issue. It seems to be a purely graphical bug, as the ship still acts like it is cloaked (cannot activate modules, cannot warp). Will probably submit a bug report later today, if it still keeps happening.
