depends on how many dreads / support they have and how many guns u have :) if one dread vs a full wracked pos, u wont need a gunner, as they will focus on that and pop it to bit pretty sharpish if 50 dreads, then not so much

can you have it the other way round for feeding? ie you are doing a reaction with 1 part being imported and have it go from silo, to silo to reactor to silo to silo? so it takes 100 units from silo one, then silo 2 replaces that 100 units as it...

indeed a outpost should have a much bigger set than POS IMO, any hostile warping within range gets a 1 minute warning to warp out or be destroyed (to stop it getting abused)
