In 0.0 you will need at least one battleship to fight the NPC's before you can access the Arch or Hacking cans. So unless your friendly with the locals, this will be near impossiable.

The ship costs about 40million the build (rough estimate). The reason that they sell for 200million is because people buy them for that much. The problem isn't that their underpowered, only that people see "T2" and assume it'll be better.

npc station sentrys don't shoot you in 0.0 space. Or at least they've never shot me despite attacking people in Stain and Fountain.

why not just have your pilots flying assault frigates? Same prices, and the carrier can hold several in its ship hanger, as well as fittings in its corp hanger.

When i get my carrier, it will be a frontline ship. Sitting on the other side of EVE to a battle is slightly boring. It would be nice to have instant locks on gang mates (for remote repping) but until then, their still very nice ships.

lasers are just as effective on a caldari ship as they are on an amarr ship (amarr have cap bonuses, not laser damage bonuses). Plus, doing EM/Thermal damage with the lasers, then kinetic with the missiles is useful.

Its a scorpian, duh? any ship which uses an excessive amount of EW is generally a very scary oponent, unless you outnumber it 4:1
