Edited by: tpwh21 on 06/04/2011 11:55:00 i did exactly the same thing to someone in J130045. thought when i read this post it was you. Most lucrative 2 hours of my eve existence ever - was blowing up the cha sma and labs of a c1 pos that had...

22. New ship class - Fleet ships - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
i have been thinking about this for a while. I always thought a range of orca class ships was what was needed. think there should be around 6 orca variants- hauling orca, mining orca, command orca, ECM orca, logistics orca, DPS orca. perhaps even...

23. So, Datacore harvesting thoughts, I assumed I was smart 3 weeks ago... - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Edited by: tpwh21 on 29/03/2011 23:58:35 i've never actually managed to get around to using research agents. planned to, bought the skills, did the grinding. then got distracted - remapped - never got the skills up. back to the point where i ...

24. T2 ship invention and manufacturing - massive confusion - in Science and Industry [original thread]
thanks for all the help. i still really dont understand. looking at jita market for guardians and HIC - both seem to be selling for substantial per item losses. Perhaps i need to look at building the t2 components to improve profit margin - but th...

25. POS in wormhole space, cheaper version than Fitz? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
in wh's with capital sized holes. there is a simple equation - is this pos going to drop enough loot for us to get a gang together - and go through the pain to take it down. and possibly get multiple caps stuck in here. Faction mods in my opinion ...

26. T2 ship invention and manufacturing - massive confusion - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I have been playing around with t2 ship invention and manufacturing. Can anyone correct my thinking/help me out? Even without factoring in pos costs (cost of copy and invention slots). These are really not profitable - apart from a very small num...

27. T2 invention and m/f - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Just wondering if anyone can help me out. About a month ago- I started out thinking - i wonder if i can turn the free cpu and powergrid on my WH POS into a nice bit of passive income. (I am not an industry player - apart from PI) so i came up with...

28. WH Capital Ship Setup: Gank Proof As Possible - in Science and Industry [original thread]
carriers are dead without support. whatever the fit. they will die if you are held by a fleet that can withstand the carriers dps. how long you survive is the only question. - unless you can call in support. Once you have been scrammed only four ...

29. Wormhole question - in Science and Industry [original thread]
the actual answer to this is slightly complex: Capital class holes will only spawn into c5/c6. c4 and below is pretty random. C1's seem to have a BC mass limit hard set - although i am not 100% sure of this. but pretty sure. all c2-->c4 have a ...

30. Gathering S&I tweak ideas for a CSM proposal - in Science and Industry [original thread]
make blueprints sensible. you should be able to stack BPCs with the same attributes, and you should be able to tell the difference easily between a BPO and BPC.

31. What do I need for a one man Pos in a WH - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Sticking a research pos in wh space is not for the faint hearted. depending on how many slots of each type you want - running more than 6 advanced labs - will seriously compromise the defences you need. I know nothing about the setups for high sec...

32. PI everyone is doing it ... but is it fun? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
i don't think PI is much fun, but it is curiously addictive. It has also pulled me into a whole load of areas i have never bothered with before, invention, industry, running my own corp.... settting up my own pos. obsessively tracking the prices o...

would seriously advise corp of less than 10 setting up in any WH. you are fair game for any passers by, especially if you don't belong to an alliance.

36. PI: Materials more worth than refined commodities? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I make p2 - mainly and only bother to sell excess of P0/p1 that has built up if i have free hauling space. The reason in simple. I move my PI goods through two WH to get it to market. That means every cargo is risking a gank on each wh. plus los...

37. PI: Materials more worth than refined commodities? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
i am not sure of this either. Here are a few possible reasons. By rights P2 ahould cost a lot more than their p1 components - ie there should be significant profit - as there is the lost resources you could have harvested with the grid/cpu you use...

38. How can extraction be improved? Or, why equilibrium sucks - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Edited by: tpwh21 on 21/02/2011 11:21:27 I think people who are saying that PI has no barrier to entry are really wrong. it was a huge pain in the balls to set up a colony before - it is even worse now. To do it in any way time efficiently yo...
