Auto patch to 83738 worked for me.
Also: * log-off button in settings window does nothing (reported) * I work around the resolution settings not taking:
Set new resolution, if you apply/close window then it reverts, but it you set the new resolution and quit with the quit button, then the new resolution in used on restarting.

Sorry but I don't understand. I downloaded the patch, but what does it say TQ to SG?
When I try to install it on my test copy of the client it's not working and when I try on the Tranquility one it says its already installed?
What should I do?

Are you sure you didn't download the TQ to Sisi patch? If what you have is more than 40MB or so, you have the wrong thing. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Null-Sec Player Influence Map http://dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Veritefw/FWinf |

So I removed the second client I've got for testing Premium, and I launched the 2.2g again, I selected the first client I've got with classic and it updated this one. When I launched it presents Aporgrypha, then tells me there is a 30+ patch. I download it, install it...and I cannot connect it says I either don't have an internet connection or I don't know what...
I thought we were testing a patch for Premium client not Apogrypha. Good communication CCP
WHy should I do then? I want to play or to test whatever you want but does anyone have a clear solution for me please?
Thanks!
Now you manually install this patch to update Apoc to the (as of this writing) latest build. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Null-Sec Player Influence Map http://dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Veritefw/FWinf |

Ok thanks but that doesn't work now because I deleted everything lol...both clients.
I downloaded both clients again. What is the one I should install and then to patch to continue test premium? Normally the eve premium test one right? That is 2.4 go big?
Sorry but I'm really confused here lol..

You'll want the installer for the premium test client (the 2.6GB installer, it's impossible to confuse it with the patcher for TQ) and then use the previously mentioned patch to bring it up to date. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Null-Sec Player Influence Map http://dl1.eve-files.com/media/corp/Veritefw/FWinf |

I'm not at my EvE machine. So I'm not even trying. I just linkified your message.
@Casqade: are they taming you? You used to be informative and now you post in the well known CCP uninformative way.
That url "should" point to the patch, according to customary CCP patch delivery naming. If this has been changed, ok. But then that url should be 404 and not just an invalid patch. Also you should post the correct url, not merely a warning that "it's not it".

I've currently got the same problem - the client auto-patched just now, and since doing so will only point at TQ. There doesn't seem to be any way to alter it to SiSi. Any clues?

I've been really busy and haven't really had time to spread my love around the Mac forum. We have been working hard on the mac client and Apocrypha over the last couple of months. I hope that I will have more time to answer questions and concerns once Apocrypha is deployed. And I also hope that our efforts show in the new client.
On the patch, we accidentally the whole pat... Erm, I mean. We uploaded a patch which did not have the latest fixes in it, we have now removed it and going to put up a new patch which does.

Is there an expected timeline for this new patch? Because I would hate to download it and it be DT already, like it has been ever since the beta came out. I would like to test it.

It should be here within a couple of hours. Downtime is 7:30am - 9:00am GMT, so I don't think you'd have to wait that long.

So i should not download the TQ to Sisi patch in this link ^^^^ ?? but i might as well download the full installer that was linked ? and if the next patch will really only be out in a few hours thats not to bad. |

I'll sum it up for those that have not been following.
Originally by: CCP Casqade Full installer:
http://www.eveonline.com/download/default_test.asp?s=singularity
Tranquility to Singularity patch:
http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/mac/evepremiumpatch75883-83552_test-mac.tgz
From the above links either you download the full installer (2.7 GB) or you download the patch (2.3 GB) and apply it to a copy of the current Tranqullity client. Either way you will end up with version 83552. note: I suggest you download the installer as patching is somewhat unreliable lately and the full installer may give you a "fixed point" to start over, just in case.
You then upgrade that with this patch:
Originally by: Verite Rendition Now you manually install this patch to update Apoc to the (as of this writing) latest build.
and end up with version 83738.
This was what we used early today. But this afternoon SiSi went up to 83913, so you need to patch it again.
Unfortunatelly Originally by: CCP Casqade On the patch, we accidentally the whole pat... Erm, I mean. We uploaded a patch which did not have the latest fixes in it, we have now removed it and going to put up a new patch which does.
therefore, for the moment YOU CANNOT connect to SiSi.
When the sleepless Casqade will manage to ready the correct patch, you'll be able to download it from here:

the aforementioned url is currently 404. IF you managed to download the patch from it earlier DO NOT INSTALL IT because:
Originally by: CCP Casqade This is the wrong patch which does not contain the latest fixes. Please do not download this patch.
IF you did apply it you need to go back to step one.

I have a question for the developers. I've been curious for a while now about the build process that you guys have to go through everytime there is an update. Once the windows guys have finalized the source code for a patch, what happens then, from the mac team's perspective? I presume that you'd have to at least rebuild the applications, or something. So in other words, what might be a typical timeline and sequence of events from when the PC guys finish their patch to when the first mac user patches the client? Also, if someone makes an error when building the mac patch (like putting the wrong checksum or accidentally using the wrong version of the pc code... >.>) how long does it usually take to redo the build?
Most of us don't have a good feel for how much work you guys have to do just to get a patch out, so it would be cool to know how things flow I think. Might cut back on the impatience a tad too.. or maybe not. :D
Thanks,
Eri

By definition, the window of time you specified has come, and gone, which is to be expected considering the word "should" was used, which is generally a pretty vague word, no better then "maybe", and only slightly better then "no".
All is forgiven
