A trader specific corp would be war decced till they bleed their ISK.
Especially if they reveal it on forum.

Most of us pure trade folk, at least the ones around here, tend to float from corp to corp. More often than not because we rarely fill any very specific role we end up being jack of all trades in any corp we are in. Offering business assistance, leveraging orders for the corp, etc...
A corp full of pure traders, a consortium of sorts. I started a thread way back in the way back machine about it and the general consensus then was that the very nature of the market would breed back stabbing into epic proportions. |

Traders are the ultimate turtles. If the business is run properly you don't even have to undock. Generally that's not very fun for corps looking for pew pew and/or isk generation. |

Why work for someone else when we can work for ourselves?

This. Traders, (station traders, at any rate) do not own destructible assets and would be completely oblivious to any wardec made against them.
I don't know of any pure-trade corps; but there are many primarily-industrial corps which would be a good fit for a trade-based character.
I don't see the need to limit yourself to only one activity, however. It's a game, do whatever you find most enjoyable. The majority of my income comes from manufacturing and trading, but I also engage in the occasional pvp gang and help clean the filth from the lowsec pool filters. I consider it my duty to any possibly epileptic players out there to remove flashy reds from local whenever possible, (this is doubly enjoyable when the person we just blew up runs to a station and buys another ship & fitting from me).
Edit: Changed a word whose spelling is needlessly nerfed by the obscenity filter.

Which is why some of us keep the fact that we are a trade corp very very secret.
Some of us are also not good at keeping secrets.
Sig is now EVE related. Happy mods? |

I have been looking for a pure trading corp for some time so if you find one, evemail me.
Many people I meet who are pure traders are all NPC corp members to avoid war decs.

I considered setting up a trade corp with my trade alt - till I started to question why I would want other traders in my corp? I would have to share my profit witht them, as well as any opportunities. Much better to keep them all to myself!

I doubt you find a pure trade corp(multi-player) out there for the reasons given above..
your more likely to find miner/builder/trade corps out there and some of the bigger one's will be 0.0 allaince alt corps to fund they 0.0 live..
you may find the odd 1-4 men trade corps out there but they be alts too and most likely station traders with maybe a freigther in npc..
otherwise its mainly npc solo traders to stop war dec's

I made my own corp for a single reason: So I don't have to bear the starter corp chatter and spam.
And if someone happens to wardec me, losing a one man corp is no big deal.
