Right,
I usuallyt play in windowed mode, but have had problems with taking screenies and what not so I decided to swap back into fullscreen to take them, then back down to windowed, Only problem is that since I've changed it to fullscreen the UI is incomplete. I can't access the options screen as when I press escape its just a blank screen. So doe's anyone have a solution?
Maybe someone running in windowed could paste their prefs and I could copy it into mine.

Right,

Because nobody has an answer ? duh
What happens if you log? Can you still not access the options with esc? Tried before you activate a character aswell?
I had something similar but that was because i swapped from full to windowed, but forgot to swap resoulution aswell, not good heh  Esc worked for me after that though...

I have the same prob now and I cannot reset the graphics back to windowed mode because the esc screen is blank. Is there anyway to get to the graphics settings without opening the game? I'm stuck now until I can get it switched back to windowed mode. Arrg. The game works well otherwise - i don't know...frusterated.

go into your eve directory, find the cache subdirectory, delete prefs.ini . Then go into the settings sub directory and delete everything in there.
when you next start eve the display and everything else will be back at default. |

The GM's and Dev's have said many many times in past not to switch back and forth from window to full screen without relogging.
instead of switching views ingame......you must exit the game to the login screen, switch veiws, and re-enter your character.
there is a reason why you have problems taking creenshoots in window mode..........
cuz it simply doesn't work and never has.
if you want screenies......you need to play full screen, that simple.
like it love it hate it lump it........simply the way it is, deal with it and don't switch back and forth.......it doesn't work.
and if a relog doesn't fix your graphics.......try a full uninstall reinstall of eve.
