Now what really does upset me about this scam, is that people normally only need a plex when they are low on real life money and gametime.
So suppose you went with this contract feeling you we're about to make a killing, you're 1 billion isk shorter for cash, and if thats your entire wallet you suddenly have no isk, and no other way to get a plex before your account expires.
So you get scammed out of all your money, your game time expires, and no you're stuck with a dead account.
This scam is about as atrocious as they get, and i would advise anyone stay away from PLEX contracts that are in freeform. Only accept normal contracts.

I think most people that advertise for gamecards on the forum, gets those offers ingame...Only use secure transfer, and you avoid these scams..Eve is full of them and its perfectly legit to scam in Eve..

not true.
if you accept the contract, it runs for 24 hours, then closes and you loose the collateral. There are no completable objectives.
It's very clever admittedly, just sickens me to the bone that it'll kick people while they're down.

unfortunately it's a fair scam, which is why i've decided to let it know here.
The image itself was one of my alliance members who thought "it was a cool scam" and was going to try it out, something i am very quick to discourage.

CCP should implement more exploitable contracts instead.

Buy your PLEXs off the market instead of off a contract? ----- All men can see these tactics whereby I conquer, but what none can see is the strategy out of which victory is evolved. |

People who use freeform contracts for item exchange are just dense..
Freeform contracts were placed in Eve Online so you could make an agreement between two parties and have it documented in game by something.
It isnt for trading, or getting items... I would say freeform contracts are more for negotiations and agreements, and perhaps treaties and the like.
Its just a way for someone to write out something, have both parties agree to it, and if the conditions aren't met, say a truce, then you have a documented in-game contract showing someone violated what they agreed with.
