Hello gents :)
I hope im not wasting your time , but..
Just wanted to open a discussion about us and the big universe we live in , there is prolly life out there , well most likely 
We are playing this space game , but i always wondered if there are civilisations out there that have mastered the spaceflight and are having battles just like we do ingame 
We are like ants in a vast universe , actually even smaller , and we live on a planet thats like infected by cancer ( the polution ).
Gliese 581c is the closest earth like planet 20,5 lightyears ( 1,346M AU )from us in the constelation "Libra" , together with 2 sister earth like planets , they orbit a red dwarf.
And to make you feel like an ant , the star VY Canis Majoris called a hypergiant , our own sun can fit millions of times into it , its diameter is so huge that it would take the light 8 hours to get to the other side , scientists said that Canis will turn in a supernova , maybe collapse in a black hole in about 5k years from now.

Its most impressive , and as for myself im sure there is life out there.
I also hope that there is some way of travelling faster then light , because if not , it would be almost impossible to get in contact with another species 
So my question is , do you think that we are alone , and do you think that we eventually will find a way to travel faster then light ?
Also what do you think about the SETI program , and the size about the universe ? ( its hard to believe that its endless , and if there is suddenly a wall , then what would be behind it ? )
And damn ive always been facinated by astrology , sci-fi movies and everything that comes with it. ( i wish i had a telescope )

Everything is a cycle.
Stars have a cycle. A beginning, and end.
Life has a cycle as well. A beginning, an end.
Billions of Galaxies. Billions of Stars. Billions of planets. To think we are the only "special" ones alive is very arrogant to me.
I wonder I can can get my hands on an "exotic dancer" of a alien race...as long as it's humanly attractive I mean.

i fully agree, every time i hear someone say that its impossible for life to exist elsehwere based SOLELY on our EXTREMELY LIMITED knowledge i want to hang them by their freaking ********* and slice their stomach open and let them bleed to death

well here is the thing.
What if we come across someone warlike,.... with a bigger military? we are rather screwed.

Not really. No doubt a few would go on the life forums and whine that they can't compete and god will nerf the enemy to balance it
