ive had a good read of the forums trying to find out how the new corp standing system works.
as far as i can tell now only players that have been in corp for 7 dys stand toward corp standing.
my question is if all the toons in the corp have been in for months and i kick everyone but the toon that has the standing is want will after 1 downtime the corp stnading then match the toons

No. From what I've seen, and this may have changed, the corp standings don't start adjusting until after a standings change occurs. This means your standings character would need to do something that causes his/her faction standings to change (via storyline mission or other means). Then, after the next downtime, the corp standings would adjust by 25% of the difference between the characters faction standing and the corps faction standing after each downtime. |

Yes
Last time I did it (about a month ago) it took a week to go up to the standing of the single member, but less than a day to adjust back down when other members rejoined. Also the changes seem to be sudden jumps up and down, not necessarily at downtime, and not at all the gradual way it used to be years ago. Frankly, it seemed buggy to me, but without CCP documentation it's hard to say if it is intentional or not.

Its 7 days after that DT.
So if you kick everyone Monday, after DT on Tuesday you'd see the adjustment. |

I just kicked out 7 members from my holding corp, and the standings immediately adjusted the following day.

You can keep it at higher levels if you plan for it.
If you buy a corp to anchor a research POS, make sure you restrict all fo the research alts to toons who have never done any missions. This lets you cycle corp members through for jump clones. And if you need to , anchor another POS. I like cats, especially with General Tso's sauce

? Isn't that what is expected, given that it will be at downtime, the average of all characters that have been in the corp for more than 7 days. Whether that be 7 days after they join or immediately after they leave (since they no longer satisfy the 'in corp' part of it).
That makes it far less buggy than the old system.
