Hope some1 could advise on this topic. Is it possible to avoid/lower the refining tax on NPC station if personal char standing with this NPC corp is low but our corporation standing with the same NPC corp is over 9.0? When I was trying to refine from the corp hangar it still refers to my personal standing. Other corp player doesn't have the high industrial skill to refine, but do have the high standing. Is there any way to use high corp standing in order to avoid refining tax? Thanks

Not that I know. If I am not mistaken, the only thing considered is the refining character's personal standing with the corp that owns the station. You'd need to get that to 6.67 to avoid the refining tax entirely. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

Actually you're wrong on that first point. You do know, because everything after that first sentence is correct ______________________ Isn't it time you learned to fight back? Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University.

Baka, no1 will argue with his last sentence since this is fact but initial question still in place - whether is possible to use high corp standing to avoid ref tax. It seems than not

Your corporation standings are only used as corporation > npc corporation for jump clones, or corporation > faction for POS anchoring.
All other standings are your personal > npc corp, or personal > faction (refine taxes, brokerage, agents). Being in a corp doesn't help for refine, coincidentally, this is why my 'industry alt' flies a dread, he was the closest at the time I needed one due to having mission running skills purely for standings for the refine tax. (This was before you could complete missions as a fleet and doing it any other way was much harder).

He did in fact answer that as well when he said only the personal standing is taken in to account. The only thing he got wrong was stating he didn't know.
I was being a bit of a smart-arse, sorry, I did consider that the entire OP was answered exactly right.
