I disagree. There is no reason a ship should shake at the beggining and at the end of warping. There is no wind sound in space.

correction, there is no sound in space. who said it had to be a wind sound?
anyways, shake, sonix boom, scetchly, ship, SOMETHING has to show acceleration.

I can confirm that as with the previous builds, patching from a TQ installation copy provides sound.
_________ The new Cloak is pretty nice. There seems to be dropped frame or two in the cloaking/decloaking animation .. at least the animation appears to make a "jump" in the process.
The warp is getting better. IMHO it starts to late, ends to soon though.. and I miss the *Boom* of the braking lightspeed-barrier :)
Turrets still don't recede while firing like in TQ. I still hope it's not intentional..
Sound still has problems, when the computer is busy doing other stuff.
All in all Apocrypha is getting better with every patch. You can do it CCP-folks :)

Hitting a cloaking module before you completely decloak from a gate means your ships cloak visual effect doesn't kick in. --- The Gate: Lol, try targeting me in a fleet fight. The Station: No U. |

When fitting a module to a ship (t3 in this case) you have to manually online the module. Just something i quick noticed. ___________

Eve still crashing after splash...
I guess after 3 patches, multiple bugreports attached to defects, and mulitple players confirming it it still doesnŠt warrant a bullet in the known issues.

No, there isn't. But EVE "physics" have pretty much nothing to do with real physics (EVE space isn't vacuum, it's apparently filled with some sort of clear jelly, for starters ). So refering to real physics doesn't get you very far, here.
If you want some "real physics" fun, calcuate the g-force affecting the pilot of an inty orbiting something at 2km range while going 2km/sec. It isn't pretty. (hint: "pilot" starts to rhyme with "pancake", there). The energy requirements for maintaining that sort of orbit is also a bundle of fun.
EVE is fun. But physics it isn't.

Then resets other then scan bugs found good improvment. sory to more fults found jumping at gate sound effect is way lower then noraml. And that cool jump effect is no longer visable

Ok, patch of downtime 26th Feb has completely broken the scanner.... all scanners.
The buttons dont do anything. Probes arent responding.
Please fix.

fix the f***ing patcher first !!! It still not working with vista. It works well being logged in as admin, but does not download while logged as normal user. Beside that i do not see any advantage in using stupid BITS, any downloadmanager is far more robust than BITS.
Switch back to your old, well established patcher and share the 1.something GB build via torrent ....

Did you install to the C:\Program Files\... folder? Do you have UAC turned on?
If so, i'm guessing that is the issue. I have Server 2008 w/ UAC off and never had a single issue.

For the epic story arc, Tevis Jak will not talk to me. I fly out to him, and I receive the message "You have to be at the drop off location to deliver the items in person."
New cloak effect is awful. The old one actually looked like you had turned a solid object invisible, while the new one looks like what it is: someone applied transparency to a 3D model. Way to take a step backwards. Here's hoping that's just a placeholder.
Warp tunnel effect needs the chromed portion toned way down, too.

Agree there. The spastic electric field was horrible, but it also had the distinct feel of a placeholder. This change, however, I'm concerned about, as I'm not sure if the devs are serious about it or not.

The affected stat is 'heat damage'
... On a heavy pulse laser II it starts at 0.8....Thermodynamics 4 takes it to 0.68 (like it reads now) and each level of strategic cruiser will should take it down another 5% (unless they finally made it 7.5% lol).
