We should all help them, be nice to them as Wrangler says. Give them 2 months to get used to the game, get past the massive learning curve.
Then, once they finally have a grasp on what this game is all about, curb stomp them back into a noob ship and watch the newbie tears water our forums!

I'll either stop them in a farming corp so they can fuel my needs with their tax money =].
Or I'll pick out a few and give them names, treat them like litle pets or something \o/.
then I'll have my own private army of boxxies , altoug I found george better.

I prefer to call them diversion tacticians. Encourage them to fly a cruiser in lowsec straight away. They keep the gate camping pirates occupied for a few seconds while you jump through just behind them and warp off. Don't forget to PM them with thanks afterwards though or they won't do it for you again

- My first ship was suicided
- First Ls trip went out in a blob
- My first corporation scammed me
- When the lofty began to spread, i was one of the first victims
pretty much sums up the old new player experience.
I'll suicide any and all interbus shuttles i see. that's my idea of "new player experience"

That's the spirit
But anyhow - I think most copies will be sold to existing players as a collectors item anyhow...

Troll.
I was a nice as could be in the beggining and that didn't stop the bad men from blowing up my ship and podding me. Granted they were pretty polite about and talked to me in local about how to avoid it in the future so is that what you mean by being nice and helpful to them?

If I had to do unto them what veteran players did unto me as a noob, I would suggest you pack a tube of vaseline in those box sets, my good sir.
Dry fisting taut posteriors cannot be any more fun for the fist that rips the rectum anymore than the recipient of such. In the event of an emergency, my ego may be used as a floatation device.

QFT.
I was helped into a new clone during my initiation, I expect no less for the noobs that join in the future.

Did it ever occur to anyone that if you bully/grief the hell out of "newbies", they'll quit before maturing into a soft/inexperienced target that has something actually worth taking in the future?
If you go on a can flipping or suiciding binge then you'll either make the player quit or harden them up to the world of Eve- if they're hardened to the reality of Eve then they're not going to do something stupid like bring an unescorted hulk or hauler into low sec, or open fire from their faction fitted BS on that lone frigate salvager that's invaded their empire mission.
People can't seem to get past their need for instant gratification & power kicks from picking on the extremely weak/vulnerable... speaking of which, I think that some of the attitudes being displayed in this thread are pathetic & laughable in the extreme- people acting & sounding like like a bunch of dorks, bottom of the social pile, who are nearly wetting themselves over the possibility of having someone to pick on instead of being picked on themselves like they usually are... sad

Some of you are so full of yourselves you should be considered bio-weapons (though small caliber). ;-)
Call'em whatever you want.
They'll only be noobs for a few weeks - then the 3rd that neither left nor carebears all the time will be in a gang and shoot you down. Just like all the noobs before - and we all were noobs when we started the game (I have a high charisma char and had no idea what bloodlines would optimize anything for me - so what? Didn't matter after a while).
I for one welcome the next generation of soon-to-be-ex-noobs.
