what exactly do you want to know. It's a mug... How do you define good in a mug? I'd say it's a fair bet it'll be water proof. but that's generally standard in all mugs. for reasons far too obvious and numerous to mention. |

I want a Caldari mug, but I don't want to pay customs some ridiculous amount to get it imported.

Normal mug size. Like the majority of the ones in your cupboard.

Tell me about it. You order a few things to make it worth the delivery, and then get stung on that! I had to pay ú17. -----

Most of my mugs are all different sizes.
I usually drink out of this huge mother****er that is more like a wide tankard.

Yeah, it's a standard sized mug, none of the NY size mug crap.

I got one of the beer mugs at Fanfest, if that counts.
It's my favourite beer mug, actually. Second place is currently being fought over by the guinness mug with the pewter badge on the side that I got from St. James' Gate Brewery, and the glass-and-pewter Stein my parents got me in Austria. - Verin "Stitcher" Hakatain. |

There's actually an EVE mug up on e-bay at the moment. Not sure which race this is, but looks amarr to me.

I have a Eve beverage mug, its good in that it holds a decent amount of liquid and its handle hasn't broken off.
The scene on it depicts an Amarr destroyer and I think a few punishers flying through a mission scene. So yeah, if you want a nice coffee mug with some eve related scenes on it then go for it and buy one.
Ive also got a gallente mouse-mat which I'm quite fond of. ------------------------------------------

Edit: lol, the costs for importing are close to double the amount of the mug itself.

oh nevermind, I just saw the new, improved mugs and I hate them.
What happened to the one that was just plain White with the Caldari logo on it? That's all I wanted, not some wallpaper thing or the word 'EVE' printed on it.

Well, Since the Gallente are descended from the French and (Jin Mei) Japanese, I'd guess either wine or sake. Something wrong with either of those?

Well, the wallpaper thing is there ONLY if you put hot liquid into it. otherwise it's black with the EVE logo. I think they're kinda cool actually. If I had a job right now I would probably buy one.

actually i think the Jin-Mei are Chinese and the Caldari are Japanese. Ever been to that titan in Lum? its surrounded by Katanas and Shoguns AND the Caldari T3 is called he Tengu...and guess what, the Empire of the Rising Sun (Japan) faction in RA3 has a unit called the "Mecha Tengu"
IT bugs me though cause they don't look a damn thing like Japanese >_<

It's many tens of thousands of years in the future, remember.
Just because Japanese Culture (or at least naming convention) prevailed dosen't mean the race did. So we could be from anywhere really

Confirming that you're reading into the thread way too much.
On Topic - I'd never pay ú17 for a Mug unless it had some kind of epic function over a standard mug. Buying from the EVE store is literally more of an inconvenience than anything.
