Fixed Assets 51,000,000,000
Liquid assets 20,040,000,000
Liabilities 6,000,000,000 to myself 400,000,000 debt to share holders
NAV 64,600,000,000
Profit *
Dividend 2,400,000,000 (4%)
Values for fixed assets were calculated using the price I paid for them. Liquid from the current market value.
*No profit was calculated this month, however I will provide a figure for next month. The reasons were stated in the offering thread. I will be calculating the profit by keeping an up to date NAV sheet and the growth will be used to calculate that months profits.
Forcast Profit this month using todays prices. 4,528,870,882.40 (7.55%)
Rarther low due to me being in the process of liquidating the other side of the business. Should have picked up by next month.
Next months dividend 2,400,000,000 (4%)
This month will be the last month of minimum dividends. At the end of this month I will launch a vote to shareholders as to if they would like to continue the reinvestment phase further or move into the capped 10% payout phase.

So break-up value is 10.77 million per share?
In other words, in two months you have paid out 8% in dividends and made another 7.7% profit for a total profit of 15.7% in two months. Not bad for a start-up.

Fixed Assets 46,000,000,000

NAV 64,000,000,000
Profit -400,000,000
Dividend 2,400,000,000 (4%)
Values for fixed assets were calculated using the price I paid for them. Liquid from the current market value.
*Profit shows as negative this month as less than minimum dividend was made. This was due to several little reasons such as production being delayed when I was unable to enter jita around the patch day to move my minerals, BPO's were moved station and also mineral compression was used for the first time, which I forgot it would take time to compress :).
Also a slight lack of dedication from myself, I've been busy in RL recently and will become more so. I will do my best to keep on top of things, however if anyone would be interested in helping out it would be great. Just some build slots and managing some market orders - ideal candidate will have good reputation, willing to help for the sake of helping (since this whole project is voluntary ) or collateral.
Forcast Profit this month using todays prices. 3,337,288,390.33
Next months dividend Based upon profit.
Remember forcasted profits are not accurate, it assumes that the market does not change at all over the coming month when suprisingly it does :)

Also I'll add I'm currently increasing production by using some spare assets to buy some more component BPOs and build more carriers = more profit. :)

There have been delays getting all the BPOs locked down in the right place - I was on holiday for the past week - but this has now been sorted out, and the pace is picking up again. The first shipment of compressed minerals has been delivered and will be put to work over the next day or two.
The BPO juggling is all above board; the remaining freighter/orca BPOs are being liquidated, as per the shareholder vote, and a couple of spare carrier BPOs that have come out of research are being sold to finance the purchase of the necessary component BPOs to put the remaining two into production along with all the others. Rest assured that there will be no further changes to the secured % of the original capital without another shareholder vote going through. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

Progress is being made. 34 assorted capital blueprints, with a value of approximately 42.7bn isk are now locked down at the new production location. This represents a level of security of 71% for the 60bn isk originally invested, just above the 70% level set by the most recent vote.
Nearly all of the materials are in place for the next round of build jobs, which will begin as soon as the necessary characters have rejoined the corp. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

As of today, neither Atima nor any of Atima's alts have been online for a week. This absence was not announced in advance either to myself or to the other players Atima engaged to help with production, who have been online recently. No assets belonging to the IPO are missing.
If I don't hear from Atima by next weekend, I propose that the shareholders vote on what course of action to take. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

And things were beginning to tick along so nicely too.
He did mention that real life was getting busy so maybe that's just it.
I'd give it another week and then discuss what action to take.

Having checked the 4 sets of API keys that Atima provided, it seems that the subscriptions have expired for 2 of the accounts, including the one containing CEO (and only member) of the shell corp used to issue the shares. Unfortunately, this means I cannot easily compile a list of current shareholders in the event that we need to run a vote.
It's definitely worth waiting, at the very least, until this weekend. If nothing happens by then, I suppose we have to consider our options:
1. Liquidate. Not ideal, as there are currently hundreds of capital components at the build location. If it becomes necessary I can build the last batch of ships myself.
2. Find a new manager to fill Atima's position and resume production
3. Continue to wait. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

I am not quite sure how a new manager would work; as I understand it, Atima has (had?) 30% of the NAV liquid in order to buy minerals, etc. That's 18b+ that would have to come from somewhere if this was to be undertaken by someone else. I'm not sure how much of that is represented by assets currently under the control of Kaz, but I doubt that all of it is.
Personally I hope that Atima returns and resumes production, but we'll see what happens.

Atima was informally using his private wallet for many of the transactions related to the IPO; this would have made sense to him at the time, as he had 6bn of his isk and some personal assets to help tide things over prior to the expansion. I understand these have been paid back, but I'm not sure exactly how much is currently held in this way.
Here's the current state of affairs:
- Approx. 400m worth of leftover minerals at the production location
- Approx. 43bn isk worth of locked BPOs at the production location.
- 644m in the IPO wallet division
- Capital ship components worth 7.3bn isk if reprocessed, or about 8.9bn isk if built into carriers.
- Two unlocked ME 2 Chimera BPOs at a separate site, estimated value 2.4bn isk - these were going to be sold to raise some additional cash iirc.
- 1 Medium control tower - 200m
NAV: 55.5bn isk
A further 800m worth of minerals that are almost certainly from the IPO are located in one of Atima's personal hangars (at the highsec mineral drop-off point).
As the previous NAV was 64bn isk, and no dividends have been paid since then, it would appear that Atima is currently holding onto about 9bn isk, or roughly the funds needed to buy minerals for the next batch of components while the outstanding batch of carriers is built.
For now, I'll see about getting the outstanding batch of carriers going. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

Doesn't sound shady, just sounds like someones personal life hit em like a freight train.
Give him a week or two and if the built slots are available, finish up the production runs. If the program needs extra slots I'd be more than willing to assist. |

Plus I'd be quite happy to pitch in if an extra pair of hands is required.

You can count on me as well. However if you decide to liquidate please drop me a mail, I might be interested in picking up some of your capital component BPOs.

Edited by: Kazuo Ishiguro on 28/04/2009 19:44:29 I'm gratified to see that there are plenty of people prepared to help out. For the sake of clarity, here is what the role currently involves:
1. Purchasing minerals in Jita 2. Arranging shipment of minerals to compression build location 3. Arranging shipment of compressed minerals to low-sec build location 4. Allocation of build jobs and pay to the subcontracted builder(s) 5. Managing carrier sales 6. Issuing dividends through a shell corp held by an alt.
Mineral compression is currently subcontracted to me, at a flat rate per slot-hour, on a discounted bring-your-own-minerals basis. There is currently one subcontracted builder supplying 9 slots, and 34 are required in total to run everything flat-out. All builders are required to join House of Marbles.
On behalf of the shareholders, I would like to invite all those interested in the role to evemail me the lowest flat monthly fee for which they would be willing to assume this role, keeping as many carrier BPOs as possible in production with the available resources. Please also let me know if, for a consideration, you would be able to provide the additional working capital required to build components and ships in parallel. You may subcontract whomever you like in any capacity as long as you take responsibility for their actions.
I'll wait until Monday next week before acting. In the meantime, I'll run an informal shareholder poll, the options being liquidation, waiting another two weeks, or appointing a new manager. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

I suppose it's an option if someone can be found who doesn't mind and charges a reasonable rate, but I doubt the returns would be very good. Also, unless they built in exactly the same location, it would be an enormous pain to move the components, as they take up more space than their constituent minerals. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

Although I'm more than willing to lend a hand, I do not have the time to take on the management of this IPO as I have more than enough things distracting me from the true path of pew-pew and looting already. If whoever does take it on needs a hand with shipping etc on a more casual pitch-in basis, particularly while they get into the swing of things, then you know where to find me.

I can handle some logistics but not to the point of taking a full time job. We should get together on a channel and discuss the matter of dividing the labor between us though. Some measure of redundancy is needed to ensure that even if one of us is unavailable the project can still go ahead.

I'm going to revert to posting updates in this thread, since the poll has now served its purpose, and I've requested that it be locked. The results were approximately 1000 to 700 in favour of continuing under the new management. A brief summary:
1. Atima has returned to hand over management of the IPO to friends within -EOH- corp. 2. Production will continue within House of Marbles, and I will continue to hold the BPOs. 3. Logistics will be managed by -EOH-. 4. The share issue corp, Atima Industries, will be held by an -EOH- alt. We're still waiting for Atima to activate the account containing the current CEO so the corp can be handed over. 5. Anticipated dividends are in the region of 8%/month. An April dividend seems unlikely in the light of Atima's prolonged absence last month. 6. The missing 9bn has been found again (I forgot I was looking for compressed minerals) and will be put back to work within the IPO. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

In the other thread some people were giving Atima grief.
Now whilst it was a disappointing end it still could have turned out a lot worse. Consider it making the best out of a bad situation Atima had personal RL issues which always have to take precedence. Would a post have helped? Sure. Would it have changed the outcome and current situation? No. So we should move forward and accept this as a good attempt with a shaky (but clean) end. Atima did return to clean up what he started albeit a little late. Let's focus on the positives (a lowsec operation hasn't failed!! COSMO!!) along with the new ownership under our EBANK director Selene (no, this is going nowhere near EBANK, it's all EOH :)) |
