Unexpected change eh. One of those things that just happened because you had to change something three tables away that was linked via queries and sub queries and was hard to find.
This would be the case for all spreadsheets and applications that used the api to look at the implants in the active head right?
I hope this gets put back together soon, and I'm so glad that Evemon gave you the ability to manually adjust the stats.

Well it must just be a coincidence then that all of my augs disappeared when I jumped clones a few hours ago. (into the clone that SHOULD have the implants, mind you).
separate issue? known issue?

Just to clarify: The disabling of the API query for implants has no effect on implants in-game. It just means that any tools such as EVEMon which use this query to determine what implants your character has will get no result. If you have an issue with implants in-game you should file a petition (which you have done) and our GM's will look into the matter for you.

Any chance for sp/hr info in the api for future cases where this happens? Just to help us who can't use evemon (running linux, so using gtkevemon). Would be good for all other character monitors as well.

Hmmm. Just days away from the new version of EVE that has a skill planning que in it and information for third party planners starts to disappear. Very curious, but I wouldn't want to seem conspiratorial.

No, or at least that is what "do not have a time frame" means when translated into English.

I was hoping they would use EveHQ as an example, but they still stick with EveMon.
Devs, you should check out this tool!

The exact same thing happened to me, CCP, like this guy, i lost a full +4 set after i got podded, and instead of activating my med clone, the game activated a jumpclone i had in empire (my backup +4)...
I filed a petition and got the finger, like i always do...
Fix your ****ing bugs or remove implants from the game alltogether... _________________________________________________ Yo mommah! |

Ah, that explains it. I was wondering about the +0 thing in evemon. I noticed it was correct ingame but missing from the API. No worries, I'll do the math by hand. (pulls out the slide-rule) |

Me too. Is the new hardware they just installed having issues or just the data that was transferred to it?

Yes, this did seem like one of those strange "what happened but not why it happened" news items that always leaves me feeling like something interesting went unsaid. ------------------ Ironfleet.com |

Actually, evemon is only partially affected by this. It shows the wrong training speed, but your end time (for knowing when to change skills) is still correctly displayed. just a FYI for everyone who is panicking.

That would be because the skill training completion time is still in API, and EVEmon does not bother calculating it itself when it can just get it from the API.

Edited by: Amida Ta on 03/03/2009 08:15:28 Could we at least get the Implant TypeIDs? This should not be any perf problem, right? And please fast! And by fast I mean something like within this week.
BTW: Not a nice move to not give any prior notice for that changes. It's not like this would have been soo pressing that you could not have waited a week after announcing that.
P.S.: In EveAI.Live the change means that in the CharacterSheetAPI total values (like AttributeIntelligenceTotal) and the times that are needed for all learned skills will currently be wrong if you have implants. SkillInTrainingAPI is unaffected and still returns the correct completion times, skillpoints gained per second and current skillpoints.

Edited by: Roc Wieler on 03/03/2009 14:46:44 Yeah, can't say I'm too fond of this either. We just put Capsuleer v1.1 into Beta test this week, and now all our skill training time calculations are way off.
Please, can this be given some priority as there are a lot of third party tool developers out there that rely on this little piece of information.
Much appreciated.
