IMO there is an economic crisis in EvE. In the old times I kept making a good ISK by seeding low-sec markets near to 0.0 chokepoints. But now I haven't got a single order filled in 2 days. My prices are OK (just about 10-15% above the tradehub prices).
What's the problem?

Care to define "old times".
But likely causes are Jump Freighters, Jump Bridge networks, more survivable Blockade Runners. Those are just the things off the top of my head.

I think it's pretty clear that she means 3 days ago.

he is most probably a guy. The male from that race are utterly ugly, like it happens with Caldari Achura. This explains the female choice. And why that race/bloodline? Because the best starting market skills.

I haven't sold anything in two days either. Clearly the world is coming to an end. Or at least it is for us lazy people.

I apologize for upsetting your delicate sense of forum etiquette. Trying times are no excuse for forgetting these important details.

It is true. EVE is dying.
The failure of a few sell orders in a specific market in a specific area is solid proof of the collapse of the overall economy and thus the death of EVE.
On a completely unrelated note, I think there is also an economic crisis in high-sec. I can't seem to find/buy rig parts fast enough to replace the sell orders that get filled almost instantly.
Sig is now EVE related. Happy mods?

I am selling those rigs in Konora and nobody buys them.
Maybe someone from here can tell his Red Alliance (or pets) to buy them?
Thanks.

Well this system is next to 0.0, so there should be some sale volume! I've also tried Taisy system (also next to 0.0) and no luck.
Something is wrong!

I used to run a small White Glaze processing operation, until two to three weeks ago. Bought the ice, refined it, put the products up for sale near 0.0 space. The products that weren't moving, I'd sell to Jita (nearest hub).
Lately, there's been a glut of Nitrogen Isotopes on the Jita market, driving the pricing down to where the profit isn't worth the effort. So I've moved into other things.
As much as I'd like the market conditions to stay the same, both the supply side and the demand side are constantly changing. Such is life (and EVE, apparently).

Edited by: Dar Vega on 04/03/2009 01:44:16 OP must not be patient. i myself placed t2 ccc and trimarks on the market in jita. roughly 8% below market price. in total i had 18 rigs. took me 3 days to clear the lot below market price. so it takes time. reality check is needed i think. you are in low sec not 0.0 low sec imo doesn't warrant a 10-15% hike in price.

If you want fast sales, you can always contract them to me at half of Jita's average sell value. I will guarantee that you'll sell them, and sell them fast.

There is an major economic issue at the moment, whether or not ths is a crisis? I do not think so, not yet at least.
The problem started years ago when dreadnoughts and freighters were first introduced to the. We all remember that, we were all excited, we all wanted one. A dreadnought especially was symbol of power and our longevity in the game.
Naturally the price of minerals rocketed, mainly tritanium. Miners believed that there dremas had come true and for a time that was teh reality. However during one trip to Yulai after the stargates had been moved i noticed somrthing, it was the first time i had ever seen a full blown macro mining operation in process, the system was being cleaned out when no one was looking. It was now that CCP should have stepped in.
Next the mineral market came crashing back down to where it used to be, the macroers mined systems completely. Fuelled by the huge demand for tritanium by major alliances they filled up all buy orders, dreadnought numbers increased massively until a ship that was intended to be rare became common place. People bought ISK for dollars bought the minerals with that ISK and teh cycle continued. CCP did step in now, to fix the numbers of minerals on the market. However, rather than cut teh numbers of minerals off at teh bottom, they created another mineral sink, Titans were born. The cycle continued and is still continuing, look at any trade hub and tritanium is more valuable per hour of mining than most other minerals.
The belts are empty, we have dreadnought fleet battles. That is just not right intended as siege engines we now prance about in our laughably common capitals because isk is cheap as chips on the internet. Many of teh big players in eve have a hand in it, many stand to lose a lot if the numbers of minerals are cut or made harder to get. That is why macroing will be here to stay.

In business, EVE as well as real life, 2 days do not make a market trend. Two weeks maybe?
Over the last month I've had several days in a row where nothing sells (I have over 70 different items), then I hit record sales for a couple of days that more then make up the low sales. That's just life in the retail business!
I wouldn't be concerned unless it stays that way for a couple of weeks.

Tell me about it, today I just had ~200m in sell orders suddenly empty around or just after reset. (the wild part is that some of them (~ 20 million) seem to have been NPC trade items that were scooped up by other players) If I go by that I would be saying that my ror overnight is in the 40% range. unfortunatly its going to take me a bit of time to get that invetory back in shape.

Been having the same problem. Sales are slow and market prices are dropping at Jita with everybody trying to undercut each other to make a sale.

Its up and down. A lot of market jockeying for M10.
Also, the war front is too quiet. With Goons having Kenzokookoo (or w/e their new name is) penned in, there's not enough chaos, blowing up and mayhem to really stir the markets up.
I think the real challenge here is, how can we start another major war? That's a sure way to line our pockets :) :) :)
PST: I heard that RA called the Goons a bunch of pansies for using Caps against a diluted BOB. I heard that RA thinks that it can take the Goons no problem....
