Overall, WH space has been surprising. I don't know how many times we've poked someone into a convo and rather than "you guys are in my space! we pod you home!" we hear "hey, be careful. there's a [Bomber the convo guy is in] on the gate."
It's so odd.
Even though these people are prolly carebears, you can't JUST bear it up and keep a POS making money. your miners WILL get camped in POS, etc. sometimes, you have to fight (even if you just loose some ships and dont kill anything good).
There are a couple of corps that we link to and never break even against, but there are many many more that really seem to be the kind of neighbors you want IRL. Y'know, those people that are watchful, vigilant, willing to share a friendly word, and will ******* vaporize you if you dont say hi before they see you.

We seem to connect to them at least once a week, must be in the same constellation or something. We like the fights, and are learning tons from them. No Pizza will ever self-destruct, and if we can bring the fight, you will get it. Hopefully, someday someone mentions Team Pizza as the bane of their existence. As one of the newer C5 corps, I do want to say that the C5/C6 WH community has been great. It reminds me of a group of guys who gets in a bar room brawl, and then an hour later is buying drinks for each other. Oh HI!

Surely You're Joking has camped a few of our systems, but it's hard to get angry at people who are good at their job. Props for good learning experiences.
The 500+ man alliance Chained Reactions, on the other hand, didn't lift a finger when we invaded their C2 capital and spent a week taking down their 8 towers. People this bad deserve to be eradicated. |

I think my biggest banes in Wh space are those 5-7 man corps who occupy C5 & 6 systems. I recall a C5 connecting to our home system and some guy jumps in in a T1 probe ship scanning for a high route. We killed & podded him for his ignorance & decided to jump a Dread in & seige his 8 man corp tower. To our delight it had no stront in it.
http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12141994
And those probers who take hours and hours to scan down WHs to move their shiney stuff. I remember on one particular occasion watching some guy probing in a C2, having to recall his probes 3 times before scanning down the 11 sigs in his system. -_-
I think we all like good fights, wish more people would engage without feeling the need for a massive blob.
As for good fights, AHARM, & Norcorp gave us some good scraps lately, aswell as W-Space & SRS not too long ago. |

Funny to see this from a Last Chancer. Last time you guys were in our wh it was I believe a 22 man fleet of T3's w/ Guardian and ECM support. Perhaps not a blob, but considerably more than what the average C2 corp is going to engage. Just saying. |

Bit shy of 22
Even so, I would call 25 pilots a reasonable fleet, 50-100 as a blob :)

I suppose I shouldn't have said "last". That was 2 days (I think? Something like that) after the time I was referring to, you guys ended up getting a presumably random connection to us in that case.

22 ships of yours on that dscan, and you had a couple cloakie T3's. So I wasn't exaggerating. :)
Was just saying that if it's good fights you're truly after, you need to have at least something people can realistically engage. We try to bring the fight wherever we go, but suicide isn't too fun. All is good though, and I respect what you guys do. Hell, every wh entity with a strong PvP focus earns my respect. Props to you all. |

Ah, I remember this ^^
I believe at the time we had receieved intel that there was a fleet battle occuring in this system or a fleet was in route to that system. We were also looking for a carrier kill just prior to this.
We ended up staying in the system for quite some time after 1 of our pilots went afk for like an hour lol. Then when he arrived back another of our pilots had fallen asleep. His wife was not impressed, being woaken in the middle of the night to wake her husband . Funny stuff :)
On a side note, good to see people doing their intel properly before engaging |

Yeah, funny thing. We had a KILL fleet in there that was slightly smaller than yours about an hour before you showed up. I think...18 guys if I recall? You'd have wrecked them if you got the fight. They ended up leaving before you showed though. Then you guys stuck around long enough that we actually got a hold of them and told em if they still wanted a fight to come back. But you all disappeared literally as soon as we chatted up some of their leadership. Literally exact timing, started talking, and within a minute you'd all dropped off dscan. We assumed spies tipped you off.
They ended up coming back hoping for a fight with you guys, this time bringing a stronger fleet that would have given you a great, even fight. Sadly you were gone, so they ended up leaving with no kills after an hour or so. Was a...stressful day for us. lol Demonstrates everything I love about whspace though. Some days you're the hunter, others you're the hunted. And it feels like only in whspace would you contact the fleet that was trying to kill you an hour ago telling them if they come to your system again they can kill the new guys trying to kill you.
As far as the sleeping pilot...I knew bashing our POCO couldn't be too fun, but didn't figure you guys would pass out quite that quickly. |

We'd have loved to see you guys go at it. Might have even made it a three way.
Sadly though, you guys didn't seem to be in the mood for any talking that didn't involve taunting us in local and trying to extort our POCO's. Some silliness about needing to exterminate all PvP-averse players from whspace. hahah It was amusing because myself and I think everyone else in my corp would have readily agreed with you. I don't think I've killed any sleepers in the last month. Been doing my best to kill every player I find though. |
