Edited by: Dyaven on 09/03/2009 23:43:26 Yes, yes, there really isn't much changing in Apocrypha that would constitute a new ship thread, especially for such an underused ship. But, I'm getting a Deimos after AP hits, and it has slight relevance: Low-sec ratting. The idea for this setup is to be able to rat in low-sec, with the primary function not being ratting, but warding away any wanna be pirates and ganking some other ratters (hopefully the BS rats will attract some people) while I'm at it. Being a pirate myself, I obviously would know when to GTFO and avoid winding up on any embarrassing killmails. While ratting, I'd use regular AN ammo to save isk, but I'd switch to faction if I have time to when a real fight comes up.

EDIT: Wrong chat, this is the OP.
Without a 1600mm plate, Trimarks aren't as effective, and with only one repper, Auxillary's aren't as effective. I suppose I could use one of both, but is it really worth the extra 60m? Hybrid Weapon rigs do next to nothing since they're stack-penalized with the Magstabs.

Ambit extensions or Metastasis adjusters might serve you well, and at what, 5 mil a pop they don't exactly break the bank... --

This, if the pg can spare it.

True, it's gonna take either AWU V or Hybrid Rigging V with the other at IV, or only use one of the rigs. --

According to an EFT graph, the Ambit would make a bigger difference in DPS against an orbiting Cruiser. I'll go with that, then. ^^

True, though metastasis will make more of a difference when squeezing up close to NPC rats or in shooting down player drones.
Edit: though I do agree with the choice, I would go with ambit extension rigs. --

My Deimos looks like this:
5 Neutron II Null, Med Neut Disruptor, Web, MWD MAR, SS Explo Hardner, DCU, EANM, 2x MFS
5x Valkyre II
2x Auxillary Current Router
It isnŠt actualy a ratting setup but does the job to if I feel the need for it. Neutrons + Null(Null M is dirt cheap anyway) is quite good for ratting, saving lots of time MWDing around instead of shooting. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!
