Okey... for thoose who dont have the time to read all theese pages i will summary it...
1.Downloading the bulk data file and extracting it to your folder, mine is D:/Program/CCP/EVE will simply not work, ends up in Incompatible (Version) every time.
2.Downloading the links that have bin linked (http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/evepremiumpatch75883-84244.exe, big one) works fine for some but for me and many others it doesnt work at all, ends up in (There was a temporary error downloading the required files)
3. CCP haven't sad anything since the first post at page 1. We are all waiting.
4. There are no patches for the game but thoose CCP have given out so searching on the net is just a waste of time...
5. Why CCP haven't sad anything is still a question for us all. They are probably to busy with finding the reason to why all this doesnt work but probably just "forgets" to let us know something...
and then a little message to CCP...
We are paying customers, we pay 14.95 euros a month to play the game. Its a great game and i love it... but what i don't like is when you put out fine messages with "Extended downtime untill 1600pm" and after that time the freagine game wont work... INSTEAD... put up a message: "Haveing issues with the recent patch, downtime extended due to this, Thanks for being patient"
BUT
Since we ARE paying Customers... We want service... and service does indeed not come cheap. BUT we pay for a game to play it... not to sit and freagine bite of our arm or tongue being ****ed of on the fact that you don't tell us anything about whats going on. SO... Are we going to get something for this little problem? Free day to play eve? or anything good enough in-game? For hell... i want to be compensated on atleast the hours it takes for this patch to start work again... and now i've bin waiting since 1600pm as u sad... still not working

ROFL... got it to work finally... but i must say... seems like im going to be there pretty soon :P

The big patch has been downloaded in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CCP\EVE\Downloads folder". If you haven't got 1,6 Gb free on C: partition, "temporary error" happens. So make free space (delete temporary files, use Windows cleaning tools for disk) or link directory on another partition (with NTFSLink by example)
1. No "downloads" or similar folder on my box. I assume you mean the cache folder.
2. I NFTSlinked that to a folder on my lotsa-free-space G: drive. Still doesn't work. When selecting the destination the patch downloader still shows the roughly 400 MB free that I have on C:
I dunno, but since some files needs to be written into windows/vista/linux what ever... then i gotta have some space... so if ur op is in C: then u need atleast 1,6gb free diskspace there to... if it still dont work try to free up 1,6GB on all ur C:, D: G: etc etc and try again, might work

No, I can't use premium.
Yeah... if u page back to uhm... page 8 i think. there is a patch... it brings u from classingtopremium it stands but its the PREMIUM LITE version... not the Premium version u could download before the patch.... the lite version is an advanced version of classic... giving stuff from premium but keeping it lite for thoose with a not so good computor

Bin downloading the patch from that "BIG ONE" patch link that was sent earlier..
Works fine still, bin downloading for 23 minutes and im at 29% steady at 350-430 Kb/s

Okey simply... The auto-patcher or what i call it lazynoob-patcher doesnt work so u gotta do it manually... if u dont know how to do it just read the summary...
its not so hard as u might think... its just that some are to lazy to even try and say it doesnt work, how to get auto-patcher to do the job?
I simply say... learn to do it now and u wont have to wait 4+ hours to understand why :P or wait for the CCP guy... wont be better in the end :P
Manual patching of the patch link listed earlier still works fine, 530+ kb/s and stable now. done in 2 mins then i only gotta try the smaller one... hopefully it works :P

Well depends where u installed it the first time... but just use search on ur comp and search for "eve" if u have the game there then u know... if u dont... then u gotta get your hands on a premium lite (instead of classic client since classic client is now removed) or the premium client.

Just finished the first patch... (75883-84244) no problems at all and ran smoothly at 500kb/s from the point at 63% downloaded going for the smaller patch now

OKey, finished the patches now. worked great. so see you guys in the game later on, hope u manage to get it to work.
