I have accessed WH space twice, both in the same K-space system. The first time the entry wormhole was designated K162. The second time I entered, the exit wormhole was designated K162. I thought this rather odd, given that the generation of wormholes is conjectured to be completely random.
I will try to replicate my results, this may just be a coincidence, or the terror I felt in those....those alien environs has clouded my perception.
I have considered Empire space to be somewhat predictable, albeit a bit dangerous if you're not careful. But now I'm not so sure....if Sleepers were ever to come in force into our homeworlds, Concord might have to stop their stargate carousels and be the first line of defense.
Why hasn't Concord redirected a portion of their vast navies to probing out the wormholes and at least monitor them until they collapse? Even if the Sleepers came pouring through en masse an alarm would at least be given.
EVERYONE SEEMS NORMAL UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW THEM. |

i believe the code after the wormhole name is a designation of its type (ie- size, mass limit, etc), not its identity. ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |

I defecated in my pantaloons when I surmised the extent of the mining possibilities on my venture into a wormhole system!!!
Alas my two corp mates and I miscalculated the stability of the wormhole and were trapped inside it after a large hauler came in to collect our Ore.
We all 3 had to suicide to our Clone station for relief from the empty cold inescapable void.
On future ventures we will always have a few ships with Scan probe launchers with us and they will be the last to leave.

We must not look only about the gains capsuleers can get from this Unknown Space. I think that the more we examine wormholes the better since one day we might learn more about its nature how to use it or even learn more about our own past. Apart from that venturing in this systems is going to show us if these systems are in our galaxy or another one and if its possible that they could get colonised.
More over if these "monstrosities" as many call them are able to be "cleaned" off these systems we might be able to examine how they got there and the artifacts that uknown space contains.
From both scientifical and Archeological point of view unknown space is a treasure right infront of us. For the time being things look realy glim but if a joint opperation is set and let us understand better the nature of wormholes and unknown space...Thing of how many technological advantages and archeological findings we might get to see.
Fellow pilots, great capsuleers...
We stand in a Cosmohistoric time we stand like the first humans looking in the dark night sky gazzing the stars thinking how can it be out there and maybe with bigger knowledge the artifacts we aquire...Maybe we are going to learn about our true origins
