So I am out of state and my computer is at home waiting impatiently to be updated with the new xpac... anyone feel like telling me what all is needed for tier three ships or can point me to a site that has info on them?

For tier 3 just train the ship skill to level 3. For tech 3 you need a bunch of stuff.
Originally by: CCP Tuxford Its been fixed. All in all its one of the more embarrassing mistakes I made, but it made game design laugh. Now lets never speak of this again.

This first and then this.
You're talking about tech 3, not tier 3 as mentioned above. (Wether or not the suggested link to skill requirements or not is correct is a whole new debate however, for example a mothership would be a tier 3 carrier by that classification, while most would agree it's either a tier 2 or a whole new class).
Short story: You can now pick 5 parts that define the ship you THEN put modules on. The final ingredients to build the ship are gathered in an alternate set of systems known as wormhole-space(W-space) accessed through Wormholes you probe down in known space(K-space). Wormholes are limited in terms of mass they let through and duration of existance. W-space is habited by sleepers, NPC's extraordinaire. Parrots, commence!

They're in fact quite ugly. I've spent incredibly little time myself getting info on them, and I can't really out the few sources I do have. But as noted in the other thread it's not all that much to them. If you search around there are screenshots of all the combinations of the 4 ships, only 3 of the planned 5 subsystems are released so far, but the stats should be rather easy to find in game.
There's really not to much to know about the actual ships. The worrying part is the amount of combinations around and even more so - about to be around. But to get the finals on those you'd probably want handier tools such as EFT. So just send your isk and anticipate. =) Parrots, commence!
