Edited by: Iamien on 11/03/2009 14:53:03 I hate you OP. Once again you lure me in with signs of pure awesomeness that CCP insists on keeping secret another 5-10 months.
ALSO: It looks like they are putting their in-house fashion designers to good use.

Not a single window into space?
We already know that CCP deemed that looking at your (or any) ship while in station is not required. Apparently anything that hints that you are 'in space' is also not required. ...

Any links to them saying that? In my opinion one of the most important things in relation to immersion would be showing the size of people in relation to the size of ship. Id much rather see only a wall of the ship in the station view with some mechanics and droids scurrying about and the whole ship in fitting window really.

This was stated by CCP at the last fanfest. Read this thread for quotes and other info. ...

Anybody seeing a reason why to go out of ship after 2 days playing in the stations ? Because appart from the older "in space" brother, the younger "in station" eve lacks any content that would be worth of continual repeating (maybe appart from the board game).
Hopefully CCP understood that a long time ago, and everybody gets a gun :).

Man, the rules of MMO Immersion and Size will be completely re-written when CCP release this little number onto the world.
In Space, and In Station - its like two games in one.
This here is certainly the future.

Female models have fantastic rear ends, I must say.
While we're on the topic of size, however:
Why are Carriers so tiny????? There is no reason that Hyperion is longer than a Thanatos when several of the former can be docked inside of the latter.
Make the size of Capitals correct, they should be HUGE!

Does it bug anyone else that the avatars don't seem to know what to do with their hands? Characters should cross their arms, place hands on hips or in pockets, or other natural gestures rather than standing around looking like they have something nasty on their hands.

Fat keeps you warm in the cold of space.

Believe it or not, not all cultures believe 'fat' is bad or ugly. I know that this is the way we're trained to think in the US and in parts of Europe.
Considering you could be fat without health detriments ... why not be, if you like it?

Oh, and I love the pics. Ambulation is something I look forward to. There's not an upcoming game on the market that has my attention like Ambulation does.
And the expansion, a year or two later after Ambulation, when we finally get to kill each other. Mwahahahah ...

I think walking on planets is more realistic.
After ONE year + a small expansion in between. =]

YEAH F***ING RIGHT!! Liar. Something like %65 of our (USA) population is overweight, so this "training" you speak of is absolute bullsh*t. It would, however, be a good idea. Seeing so many overweight and downright obese people absolutely disgusts me. Pathetic, what people will do to themselves.
As a matter of fact, I think the opposite of your statement is true: people in the US are pretty much fed that it's "OK" to be overweight and has become somewhat of a norm.

There's a difference between overweight and obese Obese is that little USA Statistic you are referring to. --------------
