I assume its much like going into 0.0 space. Are people camping entrance and exits when the wormhole has been around a few hours?

C&P shows that camping seems to be fairly common....
I would personally recommend AGAINST going into WH space alone...sleepers are quite nasty. ----------------------------------- "What can go wrong, will go wrong."

Read up a bit. Like for example this 0.0 Wormhole
But 'Safe to solo'? That's easy to answer: NO
Overall, you're asking questions that will need personal experience to answer. So do it yourself.

as long as you play smart and get wormholes from highsec it should be partially doable. I managed to kill some stuff with a Harbinger, but you need to be careful

Edited by: Rubgish on 12/03/2009 22:42:17 high-sec wormholes are soloable, at most so far i've found 1 BS rat, and they can just be ignored if you can't take them. Do watch out for camps though, it is possible, though its less likely than 0.0/low-sec because the wormholes are constantly changing and the gate-camp will have a mass limit (or a very long trip back)

I second this. 13m SP here, and I took a battle cruiser into easy WHs ("unknown space") from highsec. You'll be able to kill frigates and cruiser rats. Just be careful, as they are much harder than you are used to. The frigs will MWD to you in no time flat, orbiting fast. The cruisers will keep you at range, and sometimes rep the frigs. I've also seem them web from about 30km. They don't seem to scram often in the easy WHs... but they may. Watch out for the sentry guns... they hurt.
But go on and have fun.

yes. The max I have seen and shot were 2-3 cruisers + 3 or so frigates. That maxed out already my tank. Drones need to be taken care of extensively... As a side note: I went in in a PvP fit Harbinger, so mwd + web + short range dps (well, had a scrambler as well ). Don't expect the rats to behave nicely and let you maintain your optimal range, they will do their best to be in their optimal...
