Hello All! Just wondering how you might fit a Navy Comet for PvE and/or PvP, assuming you had a few, and wanted to play with them? Yhanks for your input!

I would fit them into the cargo of an itty V to haul to jita. Then I would buy a messload of Tristans and have more or less the same ship for a lot less.

This. The ship sucks, sell it and buy some Ishkurs instead. -----------

The ship does not suck. It sucks in cost-efficiency, however.

Quite logically, since it's a TECH 1 frigate !
Seriously now, I have one and did a bunch of level 1 and 2 missions in it just for fun, but that was a long time ago ...
IIRC, I had 2 Blasters and 2 Rocket Launchers in the Highs, AB + Cap Rechargers in the Meds, and a Small Armor Repairer + Energized passive hardeners in the Lows ... and a single drone in the bay.
Worked fine in level 1 missions, a bit more "hairy" in level 2 missions, but a really fun little ship to fly.
WARNING : don't try this without really good skills ... <~ sig starts here

Edited by: Lady Serendipity on 15/03/2009 09:16:29 I use this set up and its pretty nice. With my lolskills at 3.2 mil SP, I hit 62 DPS with around 5600 EHP. Can hit over 90 DPS and 6000 EHP with good skills.

Those of you with Advanced Weapons Upgrade lvl 5, swap the rails for blasters. Result: DPS over 120 at close range.

I have not tried using T2 rails/blasters yet because I don't have the skills for it. In addition, swapping the Small Armor Repairer II for another 200mm plate gives you a nice buffer tank of 6500-7400 EHP, depending on your skills. Enjoy
