Edited by: Hawkyy on 15/03/2009 12:13:16 Haven't played Eve in a while, but am able to again now, so installed the latest patch for it last night, and everything was fine, come back to it today and my bloom effects look like this:
Bloom On: http://i41.tinypic.com/6hhjso.jpg
Bloom Off: http://i41.tinypic.com/mkx8vd.jpg
Updated my GPU drivers to the latest version, restarted PC, and its still like this.
PC Spec: Q6600 @ 2.41GHz nVidia 8800GTS 320mb
Also, if this is in the wrong section, sorry. 4GB 800MHz OCZ Ram Windows XP SP3
Is this a known bug or something? Any help is appriciated.

Turn off AA. EVE doesn't support it, and it causes issues with bloom.
Also, update yo drivers. --- Have a rawr on me. |

Edited by: Bloomster Faolain on 15/03/2009 14:32:10 just launched in a shuttle, redocked and it is fine so i would suggest that it is ship specific. AA is not the answer and neither is the driver as I have the latest drivers, but thanks for the advice.

Hm, are you sure? The big soft blobs are usually caused by AA + Bloom/HDR. --- Have a rawr on me. |
