Here's what I got:
LENOVO Windows XP SP 2 Intel Core2 Duo T7500 2.2GHz 2.98 GB of RAM
I have EVE installed via Steam. My Steam allows me to play other games. Is there anything I can do?

I don't actually want to play while at work. I want to be able to use my laptop when I'm not at home to update skills, etc.

Can you give us a little more info on what exactly isn't working and what kind of graphics card is in the pc.
Just saying it doesn't work doesn't give us much to work with. _

Edited by: David Grogan on 16/03/2009 16:25:27 judging by the few descriptions of your work pc i'd say its new enough to have a gcard that supports sm 2.0. if my 2 year old gcard can support sm 4.0 any card made in last 5 years will easily support sm 2.0 SIG: if my message has spelling errors its cos i fail at typing properly :P |

Sorry about that guys. The graphics card is a NVIDIA NVS 140M. Also, what happens is basically, the initial EVE screen will pop up, but then nothing. Doesn't go to login screen. No error message. Notta.

No error message came up. Just that first screen then nothing. Also, my Nvidia control settings looks a little differnt than the link provided. What specifically do you think I need to change?

Potential update. I tried to start the game without team. I got aan exefile.exe unnable to locate componenet error referencing d3dx9_35.dll not found. I googled that, finding that I might need to update my directx 9.0. I'm in the middle of that. hopefully it solves my problems!!!

Ok good news & bad news. It was directx 9.0c. I got that installed and restarted my computer. Games works! Huzzah! Downside, I think I lost my sound.
