so, i had a look through last 5 pages i dont think this has been asked yet...
is there always a set amount of entrances to a wormhole?
for e.g. ive found about 10 wormholes since the patch came out near my home system in 0.0, only a few times i have found another wormhole other then the one i came through and it just went deeper into unkown space...
key question - is it possible for an "unknown" system to have more then TWO wormholes in it AND is it possible to have for e.g. to enter from 0.0 and find a way out into highsec and assuming none of the gate collapse and youve bookmarked your way just head back to 0.0?
main reason im asking is because i havnt seen or scanned or probed a single other soul in w-space yet >.<

They can have more than 2 wh. I found a w-space system which had: an exit to lowsec, an exit to highsec, and an exit to another w-space system. In that system there was an exit to 0.0
There is a recent addition to the patch notes which says "Updated the distribution logic for wormholes as some systems were not receiving them." so hopefully that should help fix whatever issues there were.
Interesting times await... |

The devs (in one of the posts before the expansion came out) said that it was "theoretically possible" for a single system to spawn a wormhole to every single W-Space system at the same time... albeit incredibly unlikely.
A W-Space system is guaranteed to have at least one wormhole in it. When the last one closes another is guaranteed to spawn, so you can't get stuck inside it. Where the new wormhole exits is random though.
And for the last part of the question, a corp mate and I scanned down a wormhole from a .6 system that landed in the middle of 0.0 space, no W-Space involved. Was a heck of a good shortcut for the alliance that held the space if they found it, it would have knocked about 40 jumps off of the trip to Jita.

I think it was wrote in one o the dev glogs that any "wspace" system will always have at least 1 wormhole that will send you back in kspace( so there is alwasy an "exit"). That said its possible that in the same wspace system have more than 1 wormholes, and its not guaranteed that also others will bring you in kspace. Some may bring you mode in depth in wspace in more dangerous systems.

No, every wormspace system has a wormhole, but there are no constraints about where it goes - it could be lowsec, highsec, 0.0 or another wormsystem.
I suppose it could even lead straight back into the system that you were in. Pretty unlikely though.
