Hi all,
I still remember the first time probes entered the game... it was a nasty and complex way of probing something on a system.... it worked.. sometimes :P
Now i have to say! Congrats CCP, great job on this new probing! BUT...
There is some points im starting to get a bit ****ed.
1¦ Why I Cant GROUP a number of probes and move them all together?!?! I think everyone understands why we need this... so... COME ON! JUST add to the code an ARRAY of probes and "on drag" move x y z...
2¦ Why I cant center the camera on a point signal? Again just add (On_click move camera x,y,z)
3¦ Since we are on a system map, why we dont have some window giving the coords of the probe position?
X: xx Y: yy Z: zz
use the player ship as the 0 point....
That would help a lot also....
So.. some ideas to keep you guys busy!
get to work lazy developers!

1) Shift + Click + Drag = Win
2) Click probe name, it will center close enough.
3) Stop being lazy

Well, shift+move moves them all, so you're half-way there… ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in =v=… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

In the op's defense, it's not like this is documented anywhere within the game :)

Sift+move and shift+resize, what else do you need?

Dunno, isn't using shift for all sorts of grouping functions kind of the industry norm these days?
Don't get me wrong.. under all other circumstances I would use this as a proof of how awesome and insanely clever I am for having figured this out on my own the first time I was scanning. But it sounds like bragging because I can ride a bicycle.

if you disable one of the probes, and then use shift-move or shift-resize, does it also move/size the disabled one too? ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |

CCP not documenting? Say it ain't so. Please, it looks bad when featues like this aren't written in the game's manual.

Thats what I thought in my last software job till I implemented functionality using such a feature (and +ctrl to select multiple items one at a time) and every second support request was "How do I select multiple items? I click one and it deselects the other".
People just plain don't know. ---
