Aera. For goodness sake stop posting today. You just seem incapable at the moment from reading messages properly and understanding what they are trying to say.
Enough from me, I'm spent on this. Keep the isk I invested - take it as a gift. I hope it serves you well in the future.

this is funny actually.. im a cold hearted *******, and i would have rammed the OP by now.. but i dont....
please listen to this Aera...... just accept the audit with a respected auditer, he WONT steal your plan... he will just confirm what you are saying is correct. we are 3 already that have offered to PAY for the audit if succesfull. i have also stated i will invest 50 million... i might even change that to 200 million...
i can understand your reaction, but you need to snap out of it.
WE ARE NOT ATTACKING YOUR PERSON....
we want to make sure as cosmo says that there arent 66% chance of us loosing our isk... and this even counting if you are legit and just fails... because business can fail you know... :D
best of luck.. hope you cool down.. and accept the audit... we arent really that bad towards you mate...

I was persistent for 4 pages back and forth. I'm still gonna do fine, just instead of others benefiting from it it'll just be me. Oh well.

I understand what an audit is and what it is used for. What I don't understand is why everyone wants one to be performed.
Can someone enlighten me, preferably with constructive info. |

Re: Audit
The OP (Aera) stated he wanted to run a business and improve his reputation. He then stated he was going to continue to offer investment opportunities.
At that point some people suggested he should get an audit done to help him. The audit would prove his trading skills (prove what he did in his business), and also increase his reputation as a good business manager on the MD forum. After gaining an audit seal of approval it is likely that the OP could have raised several billions ISK to run any venture he pleased on the back of his "what looks like" so-far successful business operation.
Instead of accepting a very standard way of helping yourself on the forum, Aera refused point blank on the audit and got very surly when asked. This tends to make a lot of investors nervous and think that the OP is setting up a SCAM.
May or not be true but a very simple audit would have:
1. cleared his name 2. Improved his reputation 3. Allowed further fund raising possible
For some reason Aera no longer wishes those things he stated he wanted.
I hope that explains usefulness of audit.

Ah thanks.
I was very curious as this person was the first person I wanted to invest with. I was told before they choose to stop round three that they were not going to accept anything below 10 mil. As by my other post I don't want to invest that much since I'm so new and have such a small income.
I was actually a bit annoyed in being turned down on my investment offer and decided to come here and see what he had to say. But I got lost after the first page.
Again thanks for your assistance and reference to the specific posts. Answered my question exactly. -------------------------------------------------- I collect everything...

I still do not believe this to be a scam. Yes I know many will mock me, but then I never cared what others thought of me in the MD forums anyway. I am in discussion with Aera and I hope for there to be a resoltion to this tomorrow.
Until then, I'd be grateful for any constraint shown.

Scam or not-
His attitude and secrecy by refusing an audit do nothing to attract investors, nor would it do anything other than remove confidence with current investors.
part of having a PUBLIC business is that it's PUBLIC.
As to why people here were all over you is that:
1) Your business "model" is exactly how a typical Ponzi scheme is conducted. EVEN IF THE INITIAL INVESTORS REPLYING WERE REAL OR NOT. They could have been actual investors, getting a super-quick and high return. But that's part of the foundation of a genuine Ponzi.
2) You again, refused to have your background, plan, assets, and operation audited. This is a huge flag showing something to hide.
3) You took in beyond your listed IPO, and kept this information quiet. This is bad- You cannot give 8% returns to investors off what you originally earned with the offering, and hold the rest. I'm not a huge market genius but something tells me that in the real world this might even be criminal.
4) Your attitude when confronted was completely unprofessional, quick-shot, and irresponsible. This would make me wary as to your thought process and decision making.
As a new investor, this is what I would never look for in a business. The other player here has been doing everything possible to help you. LISTEN TO HIM from now on. But your reputation is already gone in terms of startups. You are probably honest, but definitely not the kind of person I want in charge of hundreds of millions of my ISK.

Aera may be totally legit, but I had to laugh at the above.
I read once about a band of con artists. They often referred to a naive mark as having 'faith'.
Let's face it - putting up an IPO in MD is like a dating someone who's been cheated on in all their previous relationships - they are going to be completely suspicious, but hey, they have reasons to be.
So you either deal with the suspicions, or you move on. -----------------------------------------------
