So myself and a few corpmates are stuck in a system.....
While I know there's always a WH present in system are there generally more than one?
The reason I ask is for 3 days in a row we've scanned down a single WH (same designation everytime) that two of the four corpmates cannot fit through. We've pinned down every signal in the system so I believe it's the only one present. While we could abandon the bigger ships and jump through we'd prefer not to.
We're attempting to use the smaller ships (both with scanners) to jump in and out until it pops (hopefully) causing another WH to spawn in system but this takes forever with their mass.
So has anyone else encountered a similar situation?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Can one of the "big ships" get out? If so, I would jump one of the bigger ships through to relative safety, thereby collapsing the w-hole behind it.
Hopefully at that point another wormhole will spawn for you.
My sig don't fracking work. |

Nah....the two bigger ships we have are battleships and they both get the "You're too damn big" message when trying to engage the WH.
Hence the problem we have of needing to hopefully find a larger WH.

Sometimes theres only one.
Just scan out all the sigs and bookmark them, when next you log in initiate warp to each bookmark but cancel so you get the popup and they're maked on the map, assuming theyre all still there you can match the number of sites on the system map to the number of sigs on scan. That way you know when there is a new site or wormhole.

Excellent. I'll give this a go tomorrow as I've bm'd every site.
At least this will make it a bit quicker to figure out whether there's any additional missing sites.

deep space probes at 4au and 8au if overlapped can identify wormhole signatures ( show up as unknown) just drag em over every planet 4-6 is best spread out u can quickly identfy where they are and then swtich over to the cores to narrow down

Are the big ships fitted with armor plates? Try offlining them. I've heard that this has worked in the past. |

As of the moment, WH's can spawn out to 8 AU from nearest astro object, so once you've got all sites bm'd, set the probe to 32 AU and cover the whole system, if you have all hits accounted for, yeah, you've got them all. I had an issue not too long ago of only being linked to more w-space. All you can do is wait or intentionally collapse the wh's.

self destruction is the other option but the astrometrics 5 skill is probably one to attain if for the simple fact deep spcae probes

Thank you to everyone who responded.
I will give your suggestions a go and hopefully escape from this hell!

Is this informaton confirmed? Does it mean that in the large systems it's easier to drop few 8 AU probes around warpable objects?
I thougth that Cosmic Signatures can spawn anywhere in the system, even far abowe and below.
