At first if this thread is in wrong place please notify me.
I have been looking for forums to my quite new corp. Unfortunately I have not found free (or almost free) forum hosting service which supports or states to support EVE. Most have support for WoW and other fantasy MMORPGs. With support I mean for example killboard.
Do you know any good candidate for EVE related forum? Thank you!

Can you tell me what it is you are looking for in the Eve Compatible forums? I might be able to piece something together with Joomla, Fireboard and my API library. (Similar in some part to what I am doing with evedatacore.com)

Hey, wouldn't you be interested in helping me with project? It's Joomla based solution for corporations and alliances. Includes IGB friendly template (at least partially), API based registration and couple of EVE related components.
See the signature.

Thank you for answers!
Here comes what I mean with EVE compatibitlity.
-Killboard in forum site -Some info from forum site available in IGB -Registering to forum confirmed via IGB or API key. (for example EVE University)
These as requirements for forum site. I'm not sure about other solutions possible so I can't really ask more. Please notice that forum might become alliance forum in future.

Would you sign up for for some pre-alfa testing?
Here's the deal: 1. I would set you up site on my personal hosting including: 1.1 Joomla! CMS 1.2 Joomla! in EVE components - includes registration by API, character sheet, member tracking (far from finished = therefore testing) 1.3 Simple forum integrated to Joomla (probably ccBoard) 1.4 Killboard (EDK) 2. This would be only for limited time. There is plan to run service like this on different hosting for ISK. Once that one is set up, you would have to move there, or start paying ISK to me. 3. Since it's my hosting, you would have to trust me with all information. Some features will require director's full api key. I can guarantee you no one else will have access to it. 4. Unless you're willing to register your own domain, your address will be http://something.code-box.sk/
I cannot guarantee IGB compatibility - unless someone helps me with IGB compatble template. But considering speed of IGB, you don't really want this now.

Your offer sounds good Lumy but it of course depends on which kind of price-quality ratio there would be. I can help in pre-alfa testing but for long term solution I would like to hear also KnifeOrSpoon's proposal.
There is one crucial point which I forgot from earlier posts. I need also somekind of poll system. Right now it's important to get somekind of forums up as soon as possible.
Thank you both for your interest to help. I would appreciate if you mail or convo me in game so we can arrange further talks about this.

Hi Vladimir, My proposal is not for competition either by the way. It is meant more to coincide with a few projects and applications I am building outside of Eve at the moment. My solution would involve a fairly straight forward deployment of Joomla, FireBoard and an EveAPI controller (something I have been working on for the last few months) that would essentially be a standard install. From there the only requirement would be to administer the forum and update templates as required. Obviously IGB sites are going to be a pain, so there would need to be something written in there to handle the trusted status and connecting users to their corporations (and handling different user levels in the case of Alliances).
So I was only really asking to find out what people are looking for in an IGB/OOG forum system so I could add it to my whiteboard (yes I have a whiteboard in my office) of things to build.

I would love to work with you on this. I'm currently working on a site for my corporation that will include all of these things anyway. I have it hosted on my webserver but wouldn't mind shared access or even putting up a test site. Currently i'm running joomla 1.5.
