Yes. Just buy the minerals from market. Your agent can't tell the difference, and it'll be the quickest mission ever. Assuming the reward is greater than the cost of the ore, there's no reason not to.

Aren't those materials mission specific ore not available on the market? Or did this change since Apocrypha?
I my opinion (if it didn't change) you need an agent with very high quality (>= +15 or so) in a not so high security level system (0,5 - 0,7 maybe) to make mining missions comparable with simple empire mining. Otherwise they are less worth.

The mining missions from storylines (i.e. Materials for War Prep) you can buy the ore and that's usually what I do.
The normal mining missions have you mine mission-specific ore that can't be bought on the market and are not very profitable. 3m rewards for 45 min.

Mining missions assigned by mining divisions are only worth doing if you're grinding missions for corp standing.
Objectives are bogus mission-specific ores, there is only the amount needed to complete the mission, and no other ores around as a "bonus".
An occasional belt rat or a few drones, which can be taken out by t1 hobgoblins.

Mining missions are less profitable than courier missions, not worth doing ever since they removed the bonus ore.

I enjoy them sometimes, but mostly just as a change of play. They are good when grinding standing if you are not into pew pew ships.
