I'd be interested in knowing how the system holds up. If possible, would be good to hear reports of people's responsiveness and such.

Ola objection. Along this week, it wasn't so good. Blocked modules, etc...
CCP just begin to realize that this system needed a node for himself.

Very impressive. Only issue is no autorepeat of guns. |

It is holding up fine. No module activation delay, very little rubberbanding, high slots functioning fine on autorepeat, etc.
Still, keep in mind that while there is a LOT of people in, there is very litty traffic (gates / portals), and the only weapons fire is pos killing, fleet stuff will come later so then it will get interesting to see how it holds.

System appears to be holding up fairly well. Guns are fairly responsive, general module activation times is in the ~2 second range. There's plenty of shooting going on in system (Shooting bubbles/poses etc) but not so much actual combat happening atm.
POS Shield Repping appears to be bugged (had ~10 Carriers repping a POS that just came out of reinforced whilst in Triage, and the Shields weren't going up), though that's third-party information gleaned from Teamspeak, as opposed to actually repping the POSes myself.

We need about 500 goons more to test that properly Anyway... great work CCP. Module lag is minor.

There isn't much going on right now and the lag usually only happens when there are lots of people on grid. So don't take this as a measure of whatever improvements you might have done because idling in a POS is not really a test of responsiveness.
Goonies and their napfest are such horrible blobbers.

I expected heavy lag but right now lag is very insignificat (considering how many people shoots inside system.) Ship responds very well (about 20-30 seconds delay and only when ship is warping on the grid.) When grid is loaded up ship responds almost instantly. When autoreload guns option is on ship shoots prety good. Usually 3 cycles per 1 shoot. Hovewer i must admit that our fleet is shooting to the enemy poses and no active combat with enemy fleet occured (to this time).

Any node reinforcement necessary to accomplish this? Because if it's running smooth in there and nobody's done anything special to ensure that beyond any automated resource reallocation by the servers.. . well, that's just coo.

system at 1716 people was playable.
Module activation was OK and rubber-banding was tolerable. After speaking to a few in fleet, I think you need to pat yourselves on the back for this one CCP, most used word to describe 49- tonight was 'awesome'.
good job.

Well you were just kind of an ass to him, what did you expect?
Personally I love CCP's forum interaction with us because they're allowed to be real people instead of mindless eternally smiling PR robots.

Well when you edit your poast to say things like this what did you expect? To have the devs poast with glowing praise and then go off to your thread?

You spoke to her like an arrogant jerk. She didn't respond with joy. Atropos isn't the troll here.
You could have said "by the way, here's another thread with more detail", but instead you chose to talk to like a sulky teenager to a dev. 'np' is about the best answer you could reasonably expect.
Get over yourself.

Maybe. But if the waiter to whom im paying smacks me when i complain, his boss will kick his ass the second he gains knowledge about it.
If i'm a 7 year old stupid boy and talk like i do, if you really think its alright for an official CCP dev to answer in the same way and sink to my level then ... i think i dont even have to continue this sentence! I might grow up, you wont.
Did you get over yourself already then? I'd like to see you guys praise this behaviour by official people in real life.
Oh look suddenly how awesome that dev became by trolling his customer. Cool!
