What implants do you think give the best edge when mission running? Was looking at how many there was, and I know its tailored to whatever you are flying but what implants do you like to consider "must" haves? And I know the pirate sets are nice but what about the plain jane implants?

Uhh, you answered your own question? It completely depends on what you're flying and there are no must haves.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

Whatever increases your gank. Then, whatever aids your gank, like tracking/range. Then, CC8 if you have nothing better for slot 8.

Only implants that are must haves really apply to 1 ship.
if you are running a golem, you need the missile range implants.
Anything else its all about more damage, so implants to icnrease damage or increase tank (so you can use tank slots for more damage)

my misison clone is :
low grade halo set large damage 3% all damage 5% tracking 3% med damage 5%
not sure on the last slot
the halo set helps and its been there for a very long time. i have considered a crystal set but i dont have tank problems so it woul dbe purely for pimpage only. i like the halo set and the lower signature is a widespread benefit.
i think ive upgraded the hardwirings but the dps and additional tracking works like a charm on the vargur (check my ingame bio) and they are specifically to improve the alpha strike.
not sure on the other slot.
dependent on whay mission ship you fly there are loats of options for hardwiring and most very cheap :)

for turret ships +5 set 3 or 5% recharge implant cr4/cr8 (might be something better here) 3 or 5% cap capacty implant cc4/cc8 (might be something better here) 3 or 5% tracking implant ax-1/ax-2 5% damage to all turrets cx-2 5% damage to large <type> turret damage
for missiles it is something similar only 5% turret rof, and 5% to torp/cruise/heavy damage, and then the 5% shield capacity/recharge, or cap capacity/recharge if they will fit, I would think.
