Edited by: Swamp Ziro on 09/04/2009 12:30:11 I've been running some numbers on the groups involved in this war and figured everyone else might enjoy some and :charts: Data begins on Feb. 16th and runs to April 8th.
Member counts:
Total Change% ChangeDaily % Kenny-781-22.76-0.44 Barbie-2928-24.71-0.48 AAA-52-2.58-0.05 AAA Friends+1177+25.22+0.49 ASSCAKES-2584-13.66-0.26
GS+588+10.91+0.21 GS Friends+127+1.36+0.03 Good Russians+445+16.09+0.31 RSF & NC+1160+6.64+0.13
* Barbie is EXE, SCA, S-W, FI, CUT, TOR, SPYDR, STRIP, BU-FU, RUR, SOCO, CIC, RAX, DANGR, STYX, 25oz, 5, AXE. * AAA Friends are SE, ROL, SYS-K, SSL, AAA C, T-BAG, ATLAS, UNITY, C0VEN.
* GS Friends are TCF, MM, RAZOR, KIA, PL, IYI, ZAF. * Good Russians are X.I.X, RA, -R-.
* ASSCAKES is Kenny+Barbie+AAA+AAA Friends. * RSF & NC is GS+GS Friends+Good Russians.
If I'm missing anyone (especially for Barbie), let me know.
This is the Friendly:Hostile ratio for total member counts -
Anything above 1.0 is in our favor, below 1.0 in their favor. The big downward spike is where I put AAA & Friends entering the Delve theater and the Good Russians moving on Tenerifis. Before that it is just Ken & Barbie vs. GS & Friends.
Speaking of Ken & Barbie -
ASSCAKES vs. GS & Friends -
This gives a better picture of the main players in this conflict, since we were fighting ASSCAKES in Feyth for a few months before the Delve war began (although we didn't have constant, direct help from NC until Delve). If you compare this with the first chart, you'll see we're actually outnumbered among the groups fighting in Delve. Only with the Good Russians hitting Tenerifis do we have a positive ratio.
Overview of the lead groups in the war (lol barbie) -
Now looking at the main Kenny corps. Data is from the same time span:
Total Change% ChangeDaily % Black Eclipse Corp-15-7.35-0.15 Black Nova Corp-83-24.34-0.49 Destructive Influence-46-7.10-0.14 Finfleet-33-5.94-0.12 Evolution-19-3.87-0.08 Reikoku / Reloaded-254-34.75-0.69
Nothing too horrible, except for BNC and RKK which are pretty lol. But is there something hiding behind the curtain?
Reikoku / Reloaded is a running total of Reikoku and Reikoku Reloaded. As you can see, over a week after their shift, they've flatlined at about 65% of original membership.
Where could all those Reikoku members be?
WARNING: SPECULATION FROM THIS POINT ON
The first major shift started about 10 days ago. Since then, the Reikoku Reloaded (red) member count has climbed fairly steadily and the Reikoku (blue) member count has dropped at an equal rate.
So on day 1, RKK.R member count changed by around 4.25x and RKK by around .5x - positive and negative are not represented.
Throwing out the first two days, the relative rates of change are easier to see.
^^^oops, wrong date labels on this one, data is correct
Since RKK.R has only been increasing in members and RKK has only been decreasing in members, we can conclude that most of the RKK change (members leaving) is represented in the RKK.R change (members joining). When looking at absolute numbers, this is shown to be the case, with almost the exact amount of people leaving RKK joining RKK.R every day in Graph 2b's time span:

Edited by: Swamp Ziro on 09/04/2009 12:29:31 Going back to Graph 1, the number of missing members is easy to see. The yellow bar is a running total of Reikoku and Reikoku Reloaded. If the transfer of members was 100% efficient, it should neither increase nor decrease. Yet, as the days go by, the blue bar gets lower, the red bar gets higher, and the yellow bar stays the same. The number of missing members stays constant, around 250.
Exactly where these people are can not be said. They could be long-term AFKers who were kicked with everyone else and did not rejoin, or people looking for an easy way out who left RKK with everyone else when they were told to move to RKK.R and simply didn't come back. They are, however, a coherent block of people that don't seem to simply be "in transit" somewhere.
Now what if RKK.R were representative of Kenny as a whole regarding the true amount of active people. I.e. what if the other corps went through a similar Reloading?
04/08/09Members Black Eclipse Corp Reloaded128 Black Nova Corp Reloaded179 Destructive Influence Reloaded405 Finfleet Reloaded357 Evolution Reloaded320 Reikoku Reloaded479 Kenny Reloaded1868
Which, by pure coincidence, is almost exactly the member count BoB traditionally held steady at before they started bloating up during/after the ASCN war.

So you basically proved the average Eve player has no backbone and jumps ship when things get tough. Congrats. We all know this.
You'll probably see similair tendencies in any powerblock. (including Goons, I faintly remember you guys dipping in membership when things got rough and there was no clear direction..)

We are a force unto ourselves and thus not affected by such petty nuances such as 'morale' 'honour' and 'participation'.
