Half of them come to low sec to hunt pirates anyway, and they fail at that. It'd be no surprise to me if they disbanded.

Edited by: Dirk Magnum on 10/04/2009 18:36:57 Foundati0n has a zero percent efficiency against our alliance. A few days ago we destroyed an empty Foundati0n Iteron mk.3 with a Broadsword. This is our only encounter with that alliance thus far but I look predict we will probably achieve a second kill against them before the year is out.

Edited by: uahsd993hasdh on 10/04/2009 18:59:30 EE. left, many smaller ones has left, websites went down after long term member brought them down.
All started when Lord Maldoror (alliance leader) tried to get rid of FC and members who he didnt like (Jhonen Senraedi UNI), by waiting a moment where any of their members make a mistake in fleet. One pilot did, cyno didnt fire, fleet died.
Massive flame started in TS and alliance chat all across the board. PA continued to harrass UNI members like they had planned to get them angry enough. It worked, UNI got kicked.
He tried to prove by logs that the pilot did it on purpose. Members got really mad about it. Threads got locked in their forums.
On reference, one other guy made a mistake by bubbling up the whole fleet against RA and fleet got double DD'd. Nothing happen there.
Lord Maldoror has been recruiting lots of ex -V- pilots into his corporation and thats has been issue for a long time. By the time tensions has risen higher and members has been ****ed off how 'inner circle' is treating members.
Right now people who are loyal to Jhonen and other old school GW members are leaving foundati0n. Rumours say that Fairlight, leader corporation in FDN will leave too. Currently GW is more chaotic place than Syndicate. Standings don't apply anymore in anyway.
Multiple POS has been brought down too, not by weapons, corps are packing their stuff and leaving.
End of story.
The OP is correct about the 'dramalamadingdong', you all should have seen the posts. It's a riot.

FDN is not disbanding. This is just rumors. FDN will still be in Great Wildlands. I don't know why people are posting malicious rumors like this. Yes....some has left. But still we are alive and kicking.

From FDN allaince mail:
Quote:
It's no secret that some of the main FDN corps, including Fairlight & TSW, are leaving GW for now to continue with the business of fighting for high end assets. Even though switching to the IRC/ED theatre (having driven RA out of GW) did not work out, some of the players got a taste of a kind of combat that they want to maintain (or else risk losing them).
Without the prospect of continuing to press RA in distant regions, we also have the reality that another invader of that stature may be a long time in coming. Red Alliance's attack on GW was ultimately a huge waste of time, isk and reputation for them. Prospective invaders of that level will question whether GW's modest assets are worth the investment of fighting the overkill FDN-cap force that now defends it.
So, looking at the dull and combat-sparse period since I returned (having taken a break just after we'd captured LBC's moon), the prospect of camping old friends into E02 station (understandably, lack of targets forces people to generate them), waiting for Inspector Recon (respect for his persistence) and looking forward to occasional Rebellion HAC gangs is not appealing versus the third theatre capital combat against RA, to finish them, that was planned & cancelled.
I realise that by taking most of the capital force on a new mission outside GW, and that by Engad reforming an NBSI COW, GW as we know it may change. However, I'm increasingly alone from the old crew in having the energy to maintain an (organised) NRDS region: Valdor, still the enemy of all fluffiness, wants something new and deadly (indeed, the conditions for his return demand it), Dee is ready for something different, Gorgon has gone back to the gameplay style he enjoys, Space has had his fill of heroically orchestrating a million neuts and blues on NRDS maps, schemes, etc.
I do know some great people will be staying to orchestrate things in GW. But whatever comes of GW in the near future, the fact is FDN successfully built and ran an NRDS Wildlands and in the recent times even defended it against some of the big names in some monster battles.
