Maelstrom
With those eight guns on each side, lined up like oars on a Viking warship, together with its slow turning speed and sail-like heat dissipation panels, just gives you the impression of a huge weapon of destruction.
Too bad its performance doesn't match its looks. (others will disagree, I'm sure)

I almost cry tears of love and joy every time I see the Nyx.... It's sooooo majestic. As as been said before, /signed a trillion times over. It's the sole reason I started playing the game.

Every time I look at it, I'm like... sweet jesus, that's a freakin' ship.
I really don't see the appeal in the Nyx.. it's just ... flat and looks like some kind of symbol.. it's really quite boring :/ can someone explain what the actual appeal is?
as for the megathron, what? it's not magestic at all, it looks like a giant fork or one of those things you put sausages on to roast them
Have you seen one ingame?
They are truly a sight to see. My mate had one.... as a non RPer, it makes you want to RP... you just imagine the strength and enormity of the ship in itself.

Not counting cap-ships (as said above its just not fair to the others to include them), I'd have to say Megathron and Rokh. Both just seem to have some sort of breathtaking quality to them.

The Hyperion is definitely my first choice...it makes me happy in the pants. :)
I have to say, though, the Maelstrom almost makes me want to train up the skills to use one. Almost. It's a close second, though.
Cap ships are pretty much a no-duh sort of thing here, but the Nyx is truly a work of art.

The Tempest takes the crown. Since I started over again with Gallente I missed its looks and its uniqueness. But I have to say the Apocalypse also looks fantastic and is a close second, the first time I used it in a fleet we had like 10 of them in a 20 man gang and the way they looked when they were all aligned just made them epic. Both ships had to grow on me first, though.

I forgot to mention that the Abaddon would get my vote, save for one thing: the left exhaust plume is longer than the right one. It really does make it look sort of cheap/broken/ghetto.

Honestly, I like the looks of entirely too many ships to have a clear favorite, especially when choosing between multiple classes.
For example, the rokh is totally awesome as was the original/"Classic" hyperion and the abaddon's great too, but as good as the original hyperion was it still ties with the brutix and the rokh still ties with the ferox.
All things considered, however, for how little I've flown one the brutix is probably the most majestic ship I've seen.
I'm a fan of the "deep space/sea leviathin" look on ships and the brutix just screams out "ultra-tech killer whale." I first flew one because I wanted to fly gunships and the ferox, which I was using as a passive shield missile boat at the time, wasn't fitting the bill. I nearly lost it the first time I flew it and screwed the (level 3 no less) mission up so badly I almost lost my ferox too, but it was still very fun. ____________________

non capital ships: rokh. clean lines, asymmetrical, looks like a rifle. form = function.
capitals: the hel is my favorite ship right now. The nyx used to be my goal but its the most commonly seen supercapital. For me its very much the epitome of a steampunk-future-universe; gritty, dirty, ominous. it gives off the appearance of a freighter-of-sorts that got refitted for combat (unlike the chimera which look like it stole parts from caldari stations). very much in line with minmatar design philosophy.
