I tried downloading the patch thru the auto-patcher whilst starting eve. When the patch finished downloading it patch is corrupt and i needed to manully download.
Now when i try to open eve it says my eve folder is corrupt and i have to reinstall the entire game......

heh at least you got the autopatching thingy to get your patch, been dying on me every time I try to use it, first at 20% then 40% and the last time at 85%
Window$ always simply says that it stopped responding and nerfs its ass...
And then there is the godawful slowass speed of the download, think I'm gonna go start a family and have some kids and then come back to see if it'll have finished by then...
Most likely to find that the patch is corrupted

I have quickly learned to dread patch days with this game. Downloading now and hoping I don't get the corrupted install warning. It seems like anytime there is an update, the only thing that works is deleting the entire install and reinstalling in a different location.
crossing fingers that my install works.

Why CCP insists on setting it's incompetent monkeys on making custom versions of stuff is a mystery. There are plenty of Autopatchers, Forums, Wikis, etc. available yet they do it themselves and **** it up endlessly.
