HI,
I'm currently running lvl'3 to get back to my lvl 4.
I have been out of the game a while and would like to know the best set up for the abbaddon for the quickest mission running possible.
I run lvl 3 Amarr navy mission, looking to get back to my lvl 4 agent. Lots has changed since I was here last.
I need to make 10 mio every couple of hours to fund my EvE habit.

Talk about major overkill. Just get yourself a Harbinger for lvl 3 missions. If you REALLY want to do lvl 3's in an abaddon, then you should fit pulse lasers and get some tracking enhancers and a tracking computer so you can actually hit something. You won't see any BS's in any missions except for the bonus room in Angel Extravaganza.

u will do lvl 3 missions quicker in a harbinger as it was already told here :)
it isn't the fastest ship for that job (the abaddon)

abaddon is very slow. I would opt for hac simply because they are faster.

If you insist on doing them in a BS then i'd suggest a geddon, higher rate of fire will help pop the weaker rats faster.
Personally i'd recommend using a single T2 LAR 4 hardners and a heat sink, maybe a couple of cap relays, an ab and cap chargers.... not forgetting a full rack of guns and drones.
*shrugs* Personally though i'd use a pulse harby.

Thats overkill on defence for almost all lvl 4's, let alone a lvl 3. I'm a lazy amarr so 2x energized adaptives plenty to omni tank almost all lvl 4's (plus only 2 slots vs the overkill 4) - saves time fitting and wont need that much for lvl 3's. The abaddon has damage bonus which about matches the geddon rate of fire bonus. Abaddon has resist bonuses plus much bigger tank - much better all round ship in my oppinion.
The abaddon will still melt very fast, and can do it with low skills easier than can do in a harbi with similar skills. If run a web, burner, energized adaptives, heat sinks, 1 lar, cap stuff you can easily melt all but close frigates - and can use drones on those. Can even fit a target painter to help out.
Take the hardest lvl 3 mission I have stuck, kidnappers 10/10 which has 9 battleships you can kill. Doing those in a harbi takes a lot longer. New Frntiers 2/7, 5/7 with nos and the harbi has cap problems while the abaddon is big/ugly enough to shrug off the cap problems, kill almost everything at range. Try killing the nos towers at range in a harbi with pulses, the towers going to laugh at you as they should. I've done the mission in a harbi and was much easier in the abaddon, as was kidnappers 10/10.
If can't hit stuff, add tracking to the overview so you can see if worth shooting a target before wasting shots at it. This way you make the battleship shots counts, and they hit hard enough at a good range with pulses. The web will slow down all but close frigates ie easily chew med sized ships like cruisers. many missions have ships at range, and range + abaddon = dead npc's very fast.
