"̣Drones will now attack only the target assigned to them. In other words, drones will not just wander of and attack whatever they want. They will follow your wishes to the letter."
Nope, STILL f***ed... I knew it. What makes me even more mad is that once again it's written into the patch notes in an exuberant tone and fails to deliver AT ALL...
Why not just keep quiet about it in the first place instead of writing it into every patch-notes and failing every time?
I've been with eve on and off for like 3 years now, we've been told they'd be fixed like 10 times and 10 times f*** all happened. Keep up the good work!

I've used hammerhead II's almost religiously for two years and they have never not once ever stopped going to a target mid way and chosen their own. ______________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

i fly a domi, ishtar, ishkur...i hear people talk about drones not doing what theyre told but i havent seen it. maybe it has to do with the system your in? not all missions have to be done at l4q18 agents. i only mention because once i had an issue that only affected me in one single system, umokka. i wont go into details, but it was much much more gamebreaking than a simple drone wandering.

what i noticed is that now my drones Stay in a pack. This quote was prob mention of how broken the focus fire used to be. I would hate when 1 drone got ****ed off and decided to go on his own and attack while the other 4 were on another taget and i had focus fire on. Now they all go to 1 target and melt its face and move on, this was the one improvement i saw. OH also sentry drones now focus fire correctly. and i dont have to put em to engage the same target a few times like before.
There are some improvements your just prob not aware of em XD

Sorry but no. This bahavior is still happening to a lot of people, this exact thing you just said that doesn't happen anymore.
I haven't noticed any improvement in drone behavior at all. My setting are exactly the same. Focus Fire / Aggressive.
They don't always **** around, but they do often enough to be noticeable. Whatever, the bottom line is that whatever they did to "fix" the problem didn't work.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

Perhaps drone code needs to be rewritten from scratch? Drones have been achieving self-awareness since I started playing EVE. This free will of theirs must be squashed for good.

My drones still won't damage certain mission structures, like the pleasure gardens. I despair of the fact that CCP can't be bothered to support the Gallente weapons system.

Im sure hte problem is they dont have the range to hit the target, because the
collision zone is here and where your drones need to hit is here.
And somewhere inbetween those two areas is where your drones range ends. Same problem with POS's...but it'd seem you've never shot a pos. ----------------- Friends Forever |

Umm Aggressive causes them to choose the closest target to them and attack it...
It doesn't mean they will attack the next target you are shooting at. It doesn't work like assist. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. Always acertain the vintage of the first two. |
