Had one person in my alliance solo some sites in his drake, the system gave a shield bonus too. He said it took him forever though whith a ton of warping in and out. Haven't heard anyone in our group trying to solo any of the new sites. Corp mate solo'd a radar site in a lvl 2 system. Took him an hour though.

For complexes I do it with a dual rep, faction eanm abso. Corp mate does it with a faction nighthawk. It can really easily be done with a hyperion, the frigs just become a pain in the ass.
I cant do the mag/radar sites solo in a cs because 3 bs's always spawn together and a cs just cant tank that. never tried in the hyp though.

Edited by: Erra Fazira on 23/04/2009 04:54:08 A Drake would be a good ship to solo level 2 and 3 wormhole, I've not yet tried a level 3 wh with my drake but the level 2 are easy.
Highs 6 HML2 Scourge Fury 1 Salvager 1 Core probe launcher
Meds 3 Large Shield Extender II 1 Shield Recharger II 2 Invul Field II
Lows 2 BCU II 2 Shield Power Relay II
Rigs 3 Core Defence Field Purger
With my skills the cap isn't stable but it will have enough time for you to clear a site. Only turn on the 2nd Invul II when there are BS spawns. You could turn both invul off when your against cruisers and frigates.

A strategic cruiser obviously Also, it has come to my attention that I'm really in need of a proper signature. |

I solo'd a lvl 3 in my Drake but it was very tough. Make sure and bring plenty of ammo since it will take a while to kill each Sleeper, even the frigates. And be prepared to warp out too, especially if you hit the trigger ship for the next wave too early. I went from tanking 4 crusiers to tanking 6 crusiers and a BS at one of the sites after killing one of the crusiers. I just left after that, too much of a hassle. Need to find an easier lvl 2 WH now.

As long as you can tank about 450 (dps) across the board you dont need to leave the "main" two lv 3 wh sites (the outpost and teh frounter). However these two sites dont tackle you, so you can nerf you tank if you dont mind warp in/outs.
As to damage, for the BS, (after killing any rep ships) about 280Dps is enough (but it will take for ever), And this DPS will be enough to kill most everything else.
However (again), the frigates go bloody fast, and the support crusers stay at range. (The attack crusiers go bloody fast as well, but then settle to about 15-20km orbit), so you need to be able to hit fast orbiting frigates AND 30km out crusiers. The to top it all the BS often moves away.
Its all doable solo, (I normaly us a nighthawk, but did do it in a unrigged drake to show corp it was doable, took ages tho), however I would recomend you get help/a team.
You need to scan the sites, kill (t3?) frigates in near orbit, and BS at range. You then need to loot, and preferable salavge. THEN you need to worry about finding a new WH out. (And jsut cos it had ages on its life left when you came in, dont mean some fleet aint closed it already)

By "solo" do you mean "survive" or actually being able to kill everyone in the sites?
A well tanked Drake can solo a level 3 radar or mag site as long as you don't shoot at anyone. The initial spawn can't break your tank, but subsequent spawns will. So if you just want to hack the cans, you can do that solo.
To actually kill the spawns though, that's going to take more dps than a single drake can put out. Some corp mates and I were in a level 3 radar site a week ago and with 3 BC all focus firing on a single (webbed) frigate we couldn't break his tank. His friends were all remote repping him, and we didn't have any ECM along to shut down the reppers. So we hacked the cans and left.

Impressive.
I assume that when folks are saying "it took a long time," they mean an unreasonable and dangerous amount of time. Thanks for the information, all of you. ___________________________________________

Soloing Class 3's isn't practical, and in some cases isn't possible. Some mag and radar sites have RR spawns, and a single ship isn't going to break their spider tank.
My corp uses a team of 3 RR domi's (garde/warden/hobs) in class threes. We can do it with two, but three just makes it much faster.

I've run every anomaly and signature in class 3s with my Rokh. Though I have used my alt in his prophecy only for frig work, as he still doesn't have a very decent tank. My Rokh can tank 818 dps across the board, and does 387 dps with T2 blasters with max range of just above 30km.
Be careful with radar sites though as they do massive amounts of dps, I had a close call with one =P

Not sure how you did this. Even with a t2 MWD our rokh pilot couldn't close to blaster range on a sleeper BAS that prefered 60+km range.
Also 387 DPS, EFT I presume, is way to low to kill the remote rep BS that spawn in pairs in Unsecured Frontier Receivers, a fairly common class 3 radar site.
