Amarr Attack Bike
Sorry no name for it, heres why.
Been cleaning out my older notebooks from almost a decade back (when i was in pre-high grade school) and transferrring ideas over from it and updating it with my newer skill set and tools. (like I've always said my creativity is well beyond my ability to express it)
Its a nice trip down memory lane when I found this particular design, from my own sci fi story a terranovan attack bike. After getting done updating it the first go around it looked shocking similar to another design mantra already established, so couple of quick modifications and whallah, it 'amarrian' enough.
If you want me to get it more detailed, colored and establish it as an amarrian design, voice it and may consider it, but chances are im going to scrap the mods and keep the original 'terranovan' core deisgn which belongs to an entirely different universe in itself.

Very neat. Most of the people who do fan art of Eve-related terrestrial military vehicles draw something extremely impractical, but that's less true in this case. This thing looks nice, although my only critique would be that if it operates on two wheels then the turning radius would appear to be quite wide, due to the fact that it has those wingy bits sticking off the side.
The sketch itself is quite solid though.

Sorry but not many people follow my own sci fi though and I guess that more evidence that this isnt purely amarrian design and one of the few quirks from the original design that I didnt reconsider for.
However to explain its a belt wheel a very common design use of the Terranovan from my scifi. Instead of a normal treaded wheel, the belt wheel is comprimised of several belts perpendicular to the wheel's spin direction. The belt wheel is then able to spin the belts to assist in mobility making thier wheeled veichels far more agile at higher speeds belt wheels are required to be heavy though to keep the belt traction viable, they would be similar to the 'airbead' tires demonstrated in FFVII movie Advent Children they dont 'slide' like the FFVII bikes do.
Also another consideration from the original design lost on the 'amarr addons' was the fact the aft wheel would hight adjustable and the bike itself was far more robotic in some terms.

Ooh that's a really sweet design there Nova.
My question though, how does he sit/lay/stand? in that thing? Or, to more the point, how does he see forward? or is it camera drone style? As the entire bike model tilts forward of sorts, wouldn't his face be pitted to the 'nose' of the bike?

The pilot lays down into the bike the hatch then closes, the cusions inside the hatch are specially modified for the invididual pilot allowing max pressure seal around him this prevents biological and chemical attacks, interface is then hooked up to his helmet.
Neural interfacing allows some pod like feeling making the bike a part of him but not at the same level the pod pilots. The biggest one is the sense of balance is controlled by the machine, layng down and having your head tilted up isnt all that great. So his head is down and to cope with the ear drums positioning the machine uses sonic waves to alter the liquid in the ears based on the gryo, so whatever the pilot sees while laying down would feel as though hes upright at all times.
primary sensors are first person, the back ups are via drone camera, and tritary is other sensors and computer simulated.

Thanks for the links, I guess I wasnt old enough to see that comic at the stores, but its a design I probably wouldnt have used to much for an attack bike.
