Let me first give you my spec:
Intel Q9650 Asus Rampage Formula Motherboard 8GB Corsair DDR2 800 RAM 2 x Sapphire Radeon 4870 1GB (Identical clocks, but one has TOXIC style cooler, one reference. Both run cool) 3 x Dell 2408WFP (One powered by primary card, other two on secondary card, no crossfire)
Ok, so here's the deal: I run one eve account on each screen, at 1920 x 1200. Until today, all worked perfectly; beautiful graphis across the board. However, today one of my monitors wasnt receiving any signal (one of the secondaries). It knew it was connected, just told me no signal was being sent. I played around with the DVI connectors, and it began working again.
Since then, maybe coincidentally, the two eve clients on the secondary monitors look rubbish. They are sharp, but it seems that for some reason the card has decided to use the lowest possible textures. See screenie: rubbish on left, good on right. Same station.

The graphics settings are identical:

I logged into each account on different screens, and the rubbish graphics stay with the EVE install thats set to each screen, not with the game account.
I have updated my drivers to the latest. No change.
Any ideas? This is a weird one!

Would people agree that the graphics card is dying?

Edited by: Implicatus on 26/04/2009 18:48:32 I have an Acer that occasionally goes "No Signal". Unplugging the power cord, waiting, re-plugging usually works. Have you checked the resolution settings for the monitor since 'no signal' ?

I think this is your eve client rather than your graphics card. Cleared cache?
