Hail honorable citizens of Eve (and Minmatar beasts). I've completed another video for your viewing pleasure. It is based on true events!
We all know Amarrians do God's work in bringing the Minmatar to Enlightenment. But what happens when things go wrong? When terrorists attack innocent Amarrian traders?
You all remember the Young Amarrian (my first movie ever) and the story of a Young Amarrian finding his way in the universe. Well he's grown up now and commands a Maller on patrol to protect Amarrian shipping.
RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE TARGET AS TO YOUR HARDDRIVE
YOUNG AMARRIAN II: RESCUE AT RENS
In this documentary we see an innocent Amarrian slavetrader purchase slaves then fall under attack by evil terrorists. His ship destroyed his crew in an escape pod and slaves in a cargo container they attempt to hide from the terrorists. But they are found and targeted for death..........
Enjoy the movie. Special thanks to LEAFO of NSN who makes those really awesome movies for technical advice. This is a better movie then I usually make and hopefully the quality will continue to increase. LEAFO provided valuable insight into Adobe Premiere software for moviemaking. His techinical advice was appreciated.
When watching the video be sure to watch to the very end. There are a few brief "blackouts" between transitions (for continutity) so just watch to the end credits to get it all.
Comments are welcome as always.

Nice editing there, but only a blind man cant see that this movie is purely propaganda, and entirely fiction...
Maybe self-improvement isn't the answer.... Maybe self-destruction is the answer |

I have created my second ever video - it's not as well put together as Archbishops. It's about agent running.
You can watch or download it HERE

Hmm, good video although it craps out on me half way through. Maybe my Codec is broken. -----------------------------------

Its good to see that more and more people are taking a more 'narrative' approach to EVE movies rather then the usual gankfest's that we so often get. _____________________________________________

Agreed Yarrick while this is a work of fiction (OOC) I was really impressed by a couple of other videos and tried to use things I saw in them. I'll mention them here to give them proper credit.
#1 - The Ties That Bind by Reverend of m0o. Probably my favorite EVE video just for the soundtrack if nothing else. Tells the story of the rebellion and the Amarr defeat. An excellent movie and great job with the "story".
#2 - Ven Solo. I don't recall who made this movie it was a couple of months ago but the producer (it was his first movie) did a great job. The "sliding people" talking back and forth we're used in his movie for the first time. I found it added a whole new dimension to the story of the movie.
#3 - Any movie by LEAFO [NSN] - As I said in the original post Ive admired his movies for a long time. I actually spent some time talking to him about Adobe Premiere (I'd been using Windows Movie Maker). I'm still learning Premiere but it is so far beyond WMM the possibilities for moviemaking are endless. I appreciate him taking the time to answer my questions and he deserves the "spot" I gave him in the end credits.
A couple new movies are planned. I'm working on one for Amarria Auxilla (a pro-Amarr corp) and really need to get it done so thats my focus right now. After that who knows where in space Young Amarrian III will show up?

This film showes nothing more then amarrians comitting criminal acts within minmatar borders. And Pie trespassing into minmatar space shooting down pilots trying to prevent such crimes from happening.
It's illegal to buy/sell slaves within Matari space...
OOC: Hell... fantastic film! Had all the right elements, music and feelings in it...but I didn't like the end... Looking forward to your next creation Archbishop!
...and with the light all life vanished... |

Thanks for the compliment. An OOC question was it the ending (IC) you didn't like with the Minnies being blasted or something RL about the ending? I had some trouble figuring out what to put at the end and came up with the slave "testifying" as kind of a fun ending along with the "message" at the end.
I tried to add a little humor into this video. "SlaveMart" and the salesman with the "buy three get one free" special. The "happy slave". The fact the terrorists were babyeaters and bloodthirsty psychos. I tried for some extremes and I thought it came together nicely.
I've already got an idea for YA3 and I've also talked with a couple Minmatar about "co-staring" in a staged film. After the Amarria Auxillia film we'll see where that leads.

I re-downloaded it and was able to view the whole thing that time! Great movie Archbishop. You're not willing to share your secret of how you got the video size down to 45 megs would you? I usually about 1 meg per minute of footage and I do a two pass XviD compression for my final copies.
Also, how is it that the navigator, slaver, and slave could all fit in that capsule? That's one nice capsule.... I want one. -----------------------------------

Pulgor glad you liked it. Im not sure on the overall size issue I'm not a real "techie" type of person. I use virtual dub to compress the FRAPS files (and edit them) that may have something to do with it. If my edited film pieces are smaller somehow then usual then the end product may be smaller by default. Sorry wish I had a better answer for you.
As for the capsule it's an "escape pod" for the Bestower. Let's just say its a luxo-pod edition for a rich slavermaster.
