If he wanted to scam would it not be logic to take mo offer from over a week ago to invest more isk?Makes no sence not to
It's possible he got some accident preventing logging in or he could have done like many are doing right now: look around or back.
Many people I know have temporarily left EvE to play some game where something actually happens (beyond UI backend updates). In this case it's easy to be "hooked" and forget EvE and the commitments in there.
To bring in an example: also due to my increasing shortage of time, I have myself started playing one of my first MMOs again. When I logged back in I got greeted by 8 years old players like... absurdly. No stupid trolls, no scammers, no sh!t people (to condense everything about the specific kind of "subtly" favored EvE playerbase in a word). No morons constantly reminding you that you are SURELY a scammer, someone doing PR to prepare a scam or whatever.
Got invited in one of the top guilds, given stuff, info, people offering to help me get back on track but most of all it was the welcome that left me in tears. My sticked guides there were appreciated, no one would spit bile (moderation is also stricter) and derail constructive writings.
I admit it's HARD to log in on these forums after this. It's HARD to enter just to refuel the POS and refresh PI extractors.
At this point, the person who experienced the above was an average investee, what about EvE would push him to come back and pay investors who are surely already about to flame about how they always knew it was a scam, others will pontificate about it, others will start statistics about that, others will insert the obligatory jab at auditors...

I'd reply to your point but I'm having difficulty establishing what your point is. If it is that other games might be more interesting than EVE, I don't see how that's relevant. It's perfectly possible to go do something else (with your gametime, or less gaming and more real life) and properly wrap things up. There is no difference between scamming for the thrill and scamming because you lost interest.
Inigo is a few days late, there could be dozens of reasons for that, some more likely than others. I'd suggest people add Inigo to their contacts (if they haven't already) and see if she ever logs on. Do the same for any known/suspected alts. That's about all that can be done right now.

Your coments are one of the things indeed that could be the case.As said i higly doubt there is intention to scam. It's more a rl prevention of some kind or as you suggested lack of interest.
We'll see how this turns out in the end .
On a sidenote wich mmorpg have you gone back to?I have visited swg and planetside last year again and to me what you describe is correct however usually those mmorpgs have such a low playerbase these days it makes you cry thinking about what once was and never again will be.

Mostly I bumped this hoping to get anyone to chime in with some info, scam or otherwise.
Personally I tend to believe he walked away from the game. Whether or not it's temporary is the question.

Payment one week late on a bond that's been running and paying out for 17 months? Chill for a bit. I think he's a earned a bit more time before the mob starts handing out pitch-forks and buring torches.

I'd hardly call what anyone's writing pitchforks and torches or a mob. There's nothing wrong with showing some concern when a guy with a history of paying precisely on schedule fails to do so and is showing other signs of not being around. Why does everyone have to exaggerate everything nowadays? This isn't a right wing talk show.

lol - fair enough.
However, things have moved a bit beyond just showing concern to speculation that he has walked away from the game for a variety of postulated reasons. In the absence of any evidence at the moment I would suggest just waiting a little longer before starting to make guesses. I've had hardware failures in the past, gone on holiday without remembering to make a payment beforehand, etc. So, given his record I don't think the time for optmism has passed yet.

Just a bump.
Hope you get your rl issues sorted out.
But my primary concern is: when can we expect our investment back? Certainly doesn't look good to me to come back and find that inigo has 'left' the game without returning our initial investment.
I certainly don't mean to be insensitive, but ISK is ISK and right now I have a fair chunk of isk locked into shares that aren't paying dividends.

Consider it a goner ... slim chance it will be returned one day but i would assume it won't.

I'm figuring we got scammed, too. Strange that he didn't just take the money and run from the beggining, but w/e. There are any number of explanations, none of which are all that satisfying.
I'm still hoping for a straightforward, transparent conclusion, though. Just not expecting it.

Well lets assume Inigo actually has real life matters to sort out. There are many scenarios I could think of that would drop EVE so far down my priority list I wouldn't bother to log in either. Maybe one day he will get it resolved and come back and pay us. Those are a lot of maybes though.
Keep hope alive?

This was based on a trust, and dividends were given only to attract new investors. So its a reason why bond size had more then tripled, luring more investments with seemingly regular dividends, when there was no new investments, then it was time to end it.
