I would like to see a cheaper POS. The cost of a POS and keeping it fueled makes it almost impossible for a single player to own one. I would like to have a cheap 3 bedroom 2 bath station with a garage for my starship. I would like to be able to use free solar power so I donÆt have to worry about fueling it.

Can't you just dock in a regular station and pretend you rent an apartment then? Tear-stained ISK is the best kind of ISK. |

Pretty sure POS costs needing multiple people to support is working as intended. For every thing they add that can be done solo, EVE will lose a little more of what creates its fun.....interaction amongst its playerbase for good or ill.

Why do you want a cheaper pos?
New Eden is already infested with pos's . Making them cheaper will only increase the ammount.

I want autopilot that will also fight for me when I am too tired to do it myself.
I want my drones to go and run missions for me when I am too busy to do it myself.
I want all systems to be within 5 jumps of eachother so it doesnt take as long to go from A to B.
I want T3 ships to be given out to all players for free to make the game balanced.
I want to be able to skill all 3 char slots on my account at the same time.
I want all characters to have an e-mail address i.e. [email protected]

They are right you know? EVE is by default an MMO. I've looked into POS myself and ran screaming away just thinking of the horror fueling it as a one person corp (if I would have founded one). And that was only the fuel 'problem' part.
Get some folks in your corp to help out.

Everyone needs a place they can call thier own. The EVE universe is so big that everyone could own a POS and not have over-crowding.

If someone thinks that they "need a place to call thier own" then that person can go about the ways required to make that happen.....which would be involving other people to help them.

it called 0.0 space that is only true because there are no rules in 0.0
once you own space you can decide what to do with it other than empire deciding the rules for you.
if you buy eve in a box from my game store i will give you isk (GAME , parkgate rotherham)

That is on the drawingboard:
Quote: The Shantytown Initiative
Allowing individual players to buy, anchor and maintain their own housing module would enrich the EVE universe and serve as an easy bottom rung on the Starbase-ownership ladder. This could of course open up a whole can of worms, so weÆre proceeding with caution here.

K, but stop complaining then. You play EVE your way but you'll have to live with normal working game mechanics.

That would be kinda nice to have indeed.
Also, some kind of (small) POS structure for personal storage. -----

Erm to expensive? if anything their cheap if you can run lvl 4's!, to setup your own small PoS you shelling out a couple of hundred mil in starbase structures, which may seem steep at first but if you run lvl 4's and save its not much.
And then for the refueling of you shiny new PoS cost around 40-60mil a month! so you'd have to run a whole 3 decent lvl 4's, which a good mission runner can do in a few hours.
Ofc things ramp up if you want a bigger PoS and you have to do the nasty standing grind if you want your station in empire, but it's completely doable solo ^^

Yeah the upkeep on a POS is nothing major, I have run POS's in the past both small and medium towers in 0.0, losec and hisec. A friend of mine currently runs someting like 9 POS's mostly made up of large towers with multiple reactions, cyno jammers etc and he does it on his own.

Personal Resupply Platform.
Very small shield radius and HP (no resits), small (5000m3)hangar space, fittings dock. Can be placed anywhere that is not the same grid as another celestial object (station, gate, moon, planet, asteroid, pos, another personal refuelling platform).

no, it doesn't.
i bought a small POS and transferred all my cash except 100 mill to another character and within 3 months i had made more than 5 billion in profit, and had a burgeoning business. i'm in a corp and have corpmates, but none of the are interested in the manufacturing side of things, so i've been doing this myself since November - it's not impossible, it just takes determination and SOME starting capital (say, 750 million) and if you can't get your starter stake, you're probably not going to be able to keep up with the upkeep :)
