I have tried a few times to use it, recently.
It hasn't worked for a while now. At least it keeps turning up empty.
The dev-finder is extremely useful to keep up on "hot" topics and gain some nice knowledge. I'd hate to see it go away. Then I'd have to use eve-search!

Yeh, I think some-one forgot to update it again since it's done manually. Probably because of destroyed brain cells due to the lack of bree. _

Most likely the opposite actually.

And here was I thinking your braincells would have evolved to consume bree for their survival by now... _

Edited by: Par''Gellen on 12/05/2009 13:17:00 Wow! This is done manually? Holy crap guys! 1995 called and they want their manually updated dev post finder back...
No wonder it is usually missing a lot of the dev responses.
Thank [insert deity here] for Chribba and www.eve-search.com and the automatic dev post finder there. Chribba for [insert political office of your choice here]!!! ---
To err is human. But it shouldn't be the company motto...

So the opposite means: more people did not forget to update it again since it isn't done manually. Probably because of destroyed brain cells due to an over dosis of bree?
Did i get that right?

Personally I think it's better that way, yes it misses a lot of posts but it also filters out the somewhat useless ones and highlights the interesting ones. And like you posted, there is always Chribba _

The first DevFinder was basically a manual process involving saving links to the last 15 posts page and it was done completely manually using forum posts and threads. We decided to automate it a bit, but we wanted to retain the manual portion so that we could highlight the most important posts. Granted, there will be things you may find important that we won't include, but we'll also sort out the stuff you really didn't want to see.

...So... where is it? Its MIA for months now And couldn't you just maintain the manual part until you would have figured out a *working* other solution?

But currently, the dev-finder isn't updated.
