Hey Guys,
I want to order the E-ON magazine, and maybe the magazines from the years before.
But on the website there are 2 options :
Choice 1 : Order: One E-ON Issue Choice 2 : Order: 1 Year Subscription
In both cases you must select which issue you want them to send you. But in both cases you can select the same issues....
If i select Issue #001 for example in both cases, what magazines will i receive?
And from what date are those issues?
I can't figure it out :(
Greetings
Ben

Edited by: Zapatero on 16/05/2009 11:34:44 If you select #1 from choice 1, you get 1x copy of #1 If you select #1 from choice 2, you get 1x copy of #1, #2, #3 and #4
Choice 1, you get the issue you select Choice 2, you get four issues (a year of mags), starting with the one you select. Of course if you choose a year's worth of mags from long past, you get them all immediately.
#1 was released way back in October 2005.
It's not very intuitive atm, but I'm told the EON aisle of the great EVE Store will be upgraded next month

Who is publishing (selling) E-ON? Is it CCP?
Btw, I just want to take the opportunity to apologise for my negative comment some time ago in a post someone started, it did not have anything to do with the magazine per se though, but I was afraid someone might have thought that later on. I am sure E-ON is a nice magazine.

Yep. That's exactly what I did. Order 4 issues starting at 1, 5, 9, and so on. ___ My views may not represent those of my corporation, which is why I never get invited to those diplomatic parties... Environmental Effects

Remember that the magazines are still priced in USD even if you are outside the US and there is a shipping charge per issue.
I ordered issue 14 to have a look at what was in the mag and was very pleased with the quality. The only ads in the mag are either FOR Eve or ABOUT Eve. I then set up a 1-year sub starting with issue 15.

That's how I ordered as well after emailing customer service. It's screwy, probably pay a bit extra for shipping this way, but works. Shipped on the 5th, still waiting for them to show up.

Nope. I emailed cutomer service about that. Dude said they were working on a system to simplify the order process but until then this is the only option.

EON is published by MMM Publishing, who has a licence with EVE. They work pretty close AFAIK MMM have access to all EVE content (including non previously released stuff), and CCP casts an eye over every issue before publishing.

Okay Thanks
I think i'll wait then till they have the new order system online. I've ordered issue 16 to see if i like the magazine, and if i do i'll order more of them.
