Yes boys and girls, and FBI agents named Suzie.
It is fact that I have a -8.0 security standing. I was docking at the Oimmo V-1 station. As I was accepted to dock, I was ganked by the Caldari Navy popo police. Yes they get lucky from time to time. But to my shock Caldari Navy pod killed. I reappeared in Villore in an empty 900k skill point head, and scratch 1/2 billion ISK of implants and hardwires. I have no record in my combat log of being pod killed. WONDERFUL WTF BUG CCP. Petition is filed.
So has anyone had a similiar experience or do we have a rogue CCP employee playing GOD again???

If you get your ship popped by station guns and are docking at the exact same time, it causes you to lose your pod + implants. Its a bug and its been in eve for as long as i can remember... And to finish, thank you for reading my sig -------------------------------------------------- If you are still reading i would probably hav posted by now |

When you're podded, you only lose 5% of the skillpoints not covered by your clone up to a maximum of 5% of your highest rank*level skill. You do not get podded right back to 900k sp without a clone.
However, this is a known bug you're talking about where sometimes when you're docking and are blown up, the game screws up and thinks you've been podkilled. Petition it and GMs will fix it all for you.

You go from being engaged by Caldari Navy in my probe outside of Oimmo V-1 station to reappearing in the clone bay in Villore with a 900K head. Killmail for the probe I was flying. A wreck outside station of my probe. No corpse in space. But end result - POD KILLED because you are in Villore with a 900K clone and no implants with the insurance given you a new rookie ship.
WTF CCP....

So if this is a old bug. Do they reimburse your loss, or cheat you.

Poasting to confirm that a friend and I were messing around one day over a year ago. He got popped and podded by Concord. I saw it happen, and no I dont need to poast killmail lol. Killmail doesnt matter to me as I was there to see it. Anyways GM's fixed it for him......took like 4 days tho.

I got reimbursed on a simular bug. I was popped by a player though as I docked my ship. Ship died but I "docked" back at my clone vat- minus implants and back to a base clone.
My petition was originally simply told that the logs showed no error- generic answer. I elevated and also got chat logs from the war targets who popped my ship and they confirmed they had no killmail etc nor did they even lock my pod. After a bit of foot stamping an actual person looked at the petition and I was given my plants/clone back.
Suffice to say it was pretty obvious that initially the gm simply gave a generic response without even looking at the case.

It seems to me CCP needs to spend more time fixing the know bugs in this game...
Yes, it is the standard for a GM to simply filter your petition with the generic response... Cheating you again.
So how many pirate out there have been killed by station guns because you still have agression but the agression timer fails to display in your client window???

A. 900k? Have you never upgraded your clone? B. Being podded by NPC does happen, it's rare, it's a bug, it's a reimburseable petition... C. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a 'rogue CCP employee'. Really, they're not sitting around watching YOU.

I've known of this happening to some corpmates.
After a petition, they were reimbursed their skill points lost as well as implants etc...
You'll be fine.

IIRC you lose 5% (or is it 10%?) of your highest trained hightest ranked skill. unless you didn't have much more than 900k in the 1st place. 1/2 a bil of implants in such a young character? Really? Damn I wish i had that much money
You don't know it, but first it's the caldari navy, then it'll be concord, finally even rats will pod kill (they should) \o/

No, I did not lose any skill points. But then again I can't afford to just buy another GTC, sell it, and purchase a new set of implants. If I update the clone, and continue to play; then my petition will get file 13. Screwed over once again by being filtered...
If all CCP employees were saints, then CCP would not have an internal affairs division to police their own employees.
So scratch one wasted subscription day waiting on a petition answer!!!

Well. Well. It seems I have struck a nerve with you. If the NOBODIES like myself and you do not voice our unhappiness with the game mechanics, then issues will not get resolved. You forget that we are a consumer. We pay for a service. Are you an individual that refuses to fight after being screwed over???
When you loss a 60-day GTC worth of anything in this MMO because of a know bug that CCP has not gotten around to fixing; all you can do rage on this forum.

i had a similar case in Tama, i was docking my sb when suddenly gate guns shot me when it said docking accepted. I then appeared in Hasateem . I did petition and gave them my ship loss mail. now i know it can take a few days and i am not risking in any way that my clone will not be updated till the petiton is checked.
Btw if it showed that you docked , dont you get your ship back also or only your clone with implants?

Personally i think if you "get off" with being a negative sec player then you deserved to be pod killed. Infact seriously negative scores should result in pod killings by relevant law enforcement and should be a permanent feature in eve.
You know like the "somalian Pirate" situation where a US navy vessal took on the pirates and had snipers on the deck and ultimately... anihilated them.
PS.Gratz to CCP for bringing about this players demise.

Isnt that more like max 5% of SP not covered by clone with maximum of 1 rank on your highest trained skill ?

I've lost a pod to station guns when docking with a global criminal.
Petition it- you'll get your implants back, but not your ship.

That's cool with us tbh :) Going on your argument, the guristas/serpentis/sansha w/e should also pod mission runners with less than -5.0 standings with them, cos you know, you kill their citizens indiscriminately and should therefore be high on their priority for pod killings.
If you want to argue, read this first: Using your analogy, the somalians or watever pirates would also be the first ones to shoot anyone they suspect to be part of a law enforcement agency (or out to get them).
It works both ways.
tl;dr ALL npc's should pod after they destroy your ship.

Fun fact: folk with standing less than -5.0 can be shot by anyone and podded by anyone. CONCORD got your ship; my guess is a fine law-abiding citizen finished the job. Welcome to high sec!
